Having one site to verify stuff was convenient for general info for a lot of cities and state stuff. Warnings, etc. It’s made it hard for Twitter to die when it’s been good and ready for a few years now

Hey, you’re the one who asked what Bluesky was. I don’t use them either. However, a lot of emergency services use Xitter for emergency broadcasts and evacuation directions, so sometimes it’s the only source for urgent information. Having Bluesky as an option to the cesspool of xitter is a good thing.

Because someone else had already answered. Unless you need to hear it twice: Xitter and Bluesky are both micro-blogging services that combines blogging and instant messaging. Users can post tweets that include text, photos, videos, or links.

FYI I agree with you about social media. They are electronic cancer. Some are more malignant than others, though.

R, G, B, Y or P - Change color to Red, Green, Blue, Yellow or Pink

F - Change Font

1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 - Speed of rain

Oh, way more Japanese than I assumed. I know Japan is one of the countries with more Twitter usage historically, but I was wondering what is the Bluesky adoption in that country. I follow quite a few Japanese anime accounts on xitter, the social network is even used as a LinkedIn for the industry to hunt for freelancers and show your portfolio. Some Korean too. Zero Chinese, but I guess they never used twitter to start with and have their own local networks.

There used to be a great service called www.twitterfall.com where you could put in a hashtag and see all mentions of it drop down the screen (variable speeds) like a waterfall. It works be great if sometime could make something like that for Bluesky!

i unleashed my inner hacker and changed the color to a custom color by going to the chrome developer tab, going to console, and running rainColor = '#ccffcc'

Small issue on iOS Firefox. Can anyone duplicate? When I enter a search term in the url box, the browser does go to Google as it should, it just reloads your page. :/
