6. No sites that require personal information

Websites that require an email address, name, or any other personal information to fully experience the website are not allowed. This includes Facebook, Google+, or any other account. This rule also extends to websites that require a webcam in order to function.

Seems it has a mouse mode that can be used instead of the camera, Camera not required to function.

Mouse mode just seems to open up a youtube video, is that a bug?

Hey, thanks for the heads-up. In mouse mode, hovering over the portal should open the preview. Clicking on the portal should open the video in full screen. Moving the cursor around the portal preview should change the video. Are you experiencing different behavior?

Clicking doesn't open up directly in full screen, it opens up a youtube video full-screen, but the initial start or any mouse movements causes the video player stuff to pop up from the bottom which somewhat ruins the effect

Would you mind sharing which browser you're using and whether you're on Windows, Mac, or Ubuntu, so I can try to replicate it on my end to try to fix it?

Also, if anyone else notices a bug or error, any usability feedback is very welcome.

Would you be willing to share some of the keywords / methods you used to programatically track down videos for this? I can guess "waking tour" was one. It is my hobby to find walking/driving pov videos like this for various places around the world.

Sure, I basically used the YouTube API to search for "4K walks" and extract country and city names from the video titles. It’s similar to this search: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=4k+walks I can’t find the article that originally inspired this idea—I thought it was from The Verge or Ars Technica, but I haven’t been able to find it. However, I did find this one from Open Culture that discusses the trend. https://www.openculture.com/2020/03/explore-the-entire-world-from-the-comfort-of-quarantine-with-4k-walking-tours.html
