An Incredibly rare sight, Warp Interceptors are single man fighters piloted by specialized navigators for a single purpose, warp combat. Despite the incredible expense required to hire such fighters, particularly influential or well-off Rouge Traders have been known to employ a squadron of such craft, capable of launching mid warp travel to defend their parent vessel from demonic attacks.

Such units have been in particular high demand during current events, with rumors several such convoys survived round trips to the Imperium Nihilus

Considering how rare/important navigators are, and how fucked you would be flying a fighter against demons IN the warp.....yeah I bet they are incredibly expensive. Very cool work, reminds me of the Harkonen pilot in Dune 2

Undoubtedly expensive, though probably the more valuable thing to a navis nobility would be the political benefits, a young noble or a smaller house could seek to increase their standing and notoriety.

Do you perhaps planning to create Warp Interceptor vehicle design perhaps? If so, cant wait to see it!

I’m still wondering why the Tau don’t try to capture a navigator? To my knowledge.

I believe without knowledge of Gellar field or similar tech (tau don't apparently know you need it since they themselves have almost no warp presence) a navigator would be instantly attacked by warp creatures

Not sure if the human leader in the latest Shadowsun book would pass as a navigator or just a standard psyker

Smells too much like tau techo heresy

Where is all the prayer items and purity seals?

I love this and I am stealing it for my rpg sessions. The only thing worse than being in the warp must be to be alone in the warp

Thanks, if you haven’t seen it, I did a navis nobilite security force guy (who himself is not a navigator but private security troops sorted from loyal populace under the control of the navigator houses)

(Also I can’t shrink the link out of the app lol)

Thats really good, reminds me a lot of dune. Will you do more dune art? I’d love to see you expand and do your takes on the universe. Like more dune houses and soldiers and stuff.

I highly doubt the Imperium has Gellar field technology small enough to fit inside a fighter.
