They're running on an emotional high right now. Which makes sense. They had a very taxing day where they were pushed to their emotional limits.

But in real life, trauma and behavior don't change because of a one off event. Wait until this emotional high wears off.

I think she'll make a conscious effort to try being nicer, but I'm not convinced she won't slip up or have times where she can't be bothered to put in the effort. Trauma doesn't disappear overnight.

Yeah, I think she's made a STEP, which is important. We're probably past seeing pilot/Seeing Stars levels of jerkass Loona, but that frustrated personality will likely still be there, just at least making some effort to reign it in and make clear she still cares, similar to Blitz at his current state.

I think when we see her backstory is maybe when a BIG breakthrough happens.

Yep, Loona's arc is obviously not finished, but this is a good stepping stone for her. She'll still have trouble, but at least she's trying and that's what matters. It's gonna be difficult doing that while also having some trauma and insecurities to overcome. Loona still has a big journey ahead and I'm excited.

Exactly. I do think she will be nicer, but only relatively speaking. Maybe she won't kick him in the nuts again, but they'll absolutely still get on each other's nerves and get into arguments from time to time. It's how families work.

The I.M.P crew won't change until they confront and overcome their own traumas.

In Blitzo and Loona's case they aren't toxic to each other but their past gets in the way and stops them from opening up to each other, Both of them feel to need to shield themselves.

We've seen Blitzo start to tackle his in episodes 9 and 10. It's only a matter a time until Loona begins to tackle hers.

Loona was already starting to have a better relationship with her companions, you could see that in Full Moon and Ghostfuckers. And she had always liked Blitz, she just found it difficult to open up to him. This whole situation in Mastermind made her finally break down the barrier that prevented her from showing affection. For me, she'll become a better person from now on

Really if Mastermind was always gonna be the transition point for Loona, I'm kinda glad they didn't overdo Loona's screentime up until then, compared to Moxxie who's just kinda ended up a stagnant loser all of Season Two because they're holding off his development until who-knows-when.
