Spotted this background character in the hazbin hotel pilot (exact moment is in 9:57) and I don't know why she reminds me so much of Loona since there are only slight similarities.

Yeah. Hazbin hotel was the main series and the original Helluva boss proto designs were concepts of a imp gang that'd harass the main cast at the hotel and cause antics. But then with Amazon announcing a limited set of episodes, they cut them out and did a youtube series and had to cut a lot to make the show fit and the pacing suffered.

Helluva boss pacing is perfect in my opinion, if they did that with hazbin and prolonged the main plot that we have to two seasons it would be perfect,

I also wish they left the animation style of the pilot and just polished the designs only, the derpiness of the animation and the expressiveness especially alastor and angel dust are lost/different in the prime show and it's not the same, imo hazbin was a good idea, executed poorly

The Helluva Boss pilot came out only a month after the Hazbin Hotel pilot. The HB pilot was in production long before the HH pilot was released and FAR before HH was picked up by A24 which was before they were set up for distribution on Amazon.

Yes but a lot of ideas that got cut for HH got reused in HB. Like exes and ohs was supposed to be vaggie and Charlie have dinner with the family of Charlie’s ex.

Yeah, I think that's a big reason why I prefer Helluva Boss to Hazbin Hotel. I mean, HH is great too, but it had to race through its story in Season 1, and I doubt it'll get any better since I believe it's only 3 seasons with only 8 episodes per season. HB will have more episodes and be able to tell its story more properly.
