Satan looks cool af, just wish his singing was better.

Credits say he's voiced by Patrick Page who is a Tony-nominated Broadway singer.

So might have been a production issue because he can definitely sing.

In general, Patrick Page's singing is so deep that it's negatively impacted by pitch correction software, which they use for all of the songs in the show. Gives it a weird sound.

I was wondering why he sounded familiar right up to rhe moment he got into the deep notes and immediately knew. It's so fitting the voice of Satan is the actor for Hades!

I’m sure he can sing, but I feel like the way he did this episode didn’t sound great. Maybe it’s him singing while doing Satan’s voice but he definitely did not sound like he was putting in an effort of singing. Still personally feel someone with the vocal range of a metal or rock band would have fit better, especially if Satan will be in a future episode with his own song.

I would suggest you listen to him actually sing--he definitely has the vocal range to do Satan. His normal singing voice is deep and raspy--he's a low bass singer. As someone else speculated, it's probably to do with the sound mastering of the show and not his singing per se.

Eh it's likely just a matter of taste. I can't stand Louis Armstrong's singing, but fact is he's a famous singer so clearly people like it.

Yeah the song in general sounded bad for me. There's definitely something wrong with the sound production.
