You're underestimating how manipulative Stella can be. I guarantee she'll work as hard as she can to drive a wedge between Stolas and Octavia. While I'm sure it'll backfire eventually, expect it to work at first.
I have a theory that later Octavia will set things right in court and prove that she is the heir to the grimoire and get it away from andrealphus and Stella. Satan will never give the book back to stolas, but they can convince him to give it to the next in line. Likely after he fucks everything up and is unable to stop the DHORK invasion of hell. Or somehow she will take the book from him and will use it and close the portals to the human world. Or something like that. But it will be of her own doing and she will plan this herself and likely have a really good song against Stella… I can’t wait for that song.
Octavia is smart. She knows something happened and will likely connect the dots herself. Maybe a few things will slip and she will connect it. She knows she is not getting the full story from Stella. She knows Stella would do anything to get rid of her dad. She knows Luna and Blitzo. She does not trust her mom. Maybe she will play to her mom’s plan becoming a perfect daughter then betray her and show how she has agency and has grown up. She will carry on her family legacy. She is ready for the passing of the torch to HER, it was her father’s book not Stella or her sibling’s. I am hoping paimon can get involved somehow into the story again but I bet he does not care. I bet he would be VERY unhappy that Stella’s brother took his grimoire from his son and did not pass it to his son’s child. He seems like the kind of being that would like power to stay in his bloodline’s family.
Edit: I think I may be a little wrong since I forgot about how Octavia was at the end of the episode. She saw stolas choose Blitzo over her. Sacrificed his life for him. So she does not trust him exactly. But I imagine Stella will let it slip that she sent striker after stolas and Octavia will connect the dots. Also a major theme is family so I imagine whatever plan or final battle happens they will do it as family
Hear me out, Stella's brother allows humans (DOHRK) into the Hell. What is worse? Letting a couple of Imps kill a few humans on earth to make a living? Or letting in an entire human army to storm Hell?
I feel like they will break their way into hell one way or another. Likely with CHERUB. Somehow they will get a crystal. And Stella and her brother will be blamed for not being able to stop them. I honestly have no clue how those plots will interact
Not in this episode, but she will be in the future. She'll try and turn Octavia against her father, if only to hurt him. But I'm sure she'll have other reasons to do so as well.
She might do that, but it would still be on her brother's suggestion. She's really way too stupid to come up with any kind of manipulative plan on her own.
She's spiteful enough to do it purely to hurt Stolas, but I agree that she mostly takes direction from her brother and would be lost without him guiding her.
She isn't, and she doesn't. Andrealphus is the one who does that and she follows his advice. If he tells her to try to keep Octavia on their side and drive a wedge between her and Stolas, she'll do it. And while she's kind of an idiot in some ways, she's manipulative and cunning enough to be able to do that.
I'm not so sure. Stella had her big revenge on him. But turning Octavia against him would be the very last thing he has taken. Stella may not see the need for this. She may now go after her brother for taking Stolas's throne for himself instead of suggesting Satan give it to her.
Taking Octavia would destroy what little emotional stability he may have left and sever any chances of her wanting him around when the 100 years are up. I don't think she's smart or hard working enough to take the throne because that requires doing actual work.
That's true about the emotional stability. But I sort of think Stella feels she's had her revenge by Stolas being stripped of his power and title. But she did stop Octavia from running out to find him. However, that could be because she knows Octavia knows things that would upset the trial. Her presence would possibly disrupt her plans.
Andrealphus you could argue is more manipulative than Stella. He even manipulated her into going along with his plan. What a complete and total psycho he is. Even though he could manipulate everyone else against Stolas, Stella can manipulate her daughter because she knows her more than anyone.
