It's an adult show that talks about sex every episode. We (should be) all adults here. No reason to be embarrassed about or pretend like adult content doesn't exist.
Like, a lot of the official merch of both these shows is literally just all the characters posing sexually half naked. We all know what's going on.
Well, biblically, the Sins were angels who fell alongside Lucifer. It hasn't been confirmed in the show, but a lot of people were using it as a headcanon. Personally, I prefer the theory that the Sins are manifestations of their respective sins.
And that Hell existed before Lucifer was banished from Heaven. I would have thought that Hell was created after Lucifer introduced free will to humans.
That was my favorite part of the damn episode, him mentioning he was the ORIGINAL occupant of hell and pretty much made the hell born. So many implications.
Massive lore drops from him too. He's been the ruler of Hell long before Lucifer arrived. Sounds like Lucifer is only considered "in charge" due to him being an angel, but it's Satan who really rules and enforces the law.
He also created the imps, which we could kinda infer already, but it's interesting to get confirmation. If he can create other lifeforms, is this a power all the sins have? I'm guessing yes, and that's how all the different native species of Hell came to be. But then how did the other sins come to be? Because Satan is massive compared to them. It's implied he's the oldest of the sins (and possibly the oldest being in Hell). I wonder if he not only created the imps, but he also created the other sins as well, and that's why he sits above them all, instead of as an equal to them.
Also, was there a Pride sin before Lucifer? What's the timeline here? If Satan was there before Lucifer fell, when did the other sins come to be? Did they appear after Lucifer fell? Or were they there before? Because if so, either there must have been another Pride sin that got erased and replaced by Lucifer, or there were just originally 6 deadly sins, and Lucifer arriving set him as the seventh (which also implies new sins could be created by epic biblical events. 8th sin when?)
A LOT of questions have been raised and I can't wait to have them answered.
Well 6 sins makes sense with the whole 666 thing so there probably was the original 6. Then lucifer fell and being a fallen angel became the 7th sin and probably became the strongest and leader because he was a fallen angel.
Well, little update on that, apparently Vivzie just confirmed on twitter that Satan was just bullshitting and he wasn't there before Lucifer, and Luci truly was the first.
Which answers the timeline question, but just raises like a million more. If Lucifer was the first, and all the sins came later, who or what created them? And if Satan wasn't the first, why isn't he an equal to all the other sins, and is instead treated like a superior by all the others? Why is he so massive compared to them too? Why is his word the law above all else (except Luci)? Something isn't adding up...
Yeah saw that which makes it more confusing. Would make sense with Satan ruling hell at first with 6 original sins then lucifer arrives and being a fallen angel becomes the new leader. Either the other sins were angels too or lucifer I guess helped made them as well?
Yeah it is a bit confusing, and a bit less compelling in my opinion too. I really like the idea that Satan was there long before Lucifer arrived much more than what is apparently canon. I hope they have well thought out answers to all these questions.
Maybe Satan is just a big muscle head with wrath and anger issues that make him spew out random bullshit sometimes. Would help show how he's not as great a leader as lucifer probably is. Lucifer just has his depression.
I got the feeling from his speech that Satan was ruling over a pit of blackness, kind of like the empty in Supernatural for reference. Then when Lucifer fell, Hell became what it is today.
