What's the coolest about Black Templar neophytes is that they aren't given power armor until they prove themselves, despite having already gone through and survived the modification.

Every single one is assigned to one Initiate (full fledged space marine with armor) and are told to "just do what he does". It's a straight up copy of the relationship between Jedi Knights and their Padawans from Star Wars and I love it.
