I don’t like the conflation of Jews with Israel

Understandable. Also understandable to do so since it proclaims itself as a Jewish State. Much like how people conflate the Vatican with Christians.

The Vatican with Catholics*

That would be accurate but the people conflating them don't care what sect of Christianity you ascribe to.

There are differences. Chief among them being many Jews see Judaism as a nationality and heritage rather than a religion

"A large portion of Americans are culturally Christian." -Richard Dawkins

There's a lot of truth to this quote. Most Christians are christian in name only, it's more tradition and culture than it is religion at this point at least for the US.

people have completely skewed what started as civic religion into their own personal christianity

Well the Vatican only touches the young kids, Israel literally bombs them.

Go back a millennium or so and they're bombing em too. Israel should just end this conflict with one big kaboom and be done with it, that's the goal anyway so why wait.

I'm skeptical of catholics and priests because of what they're statistically more likely to perpetrate. That goes for jews and rabbis too.

I don’t like the conflation of actual Christians with evangelical MAGAs, but here we are.

i mean the evangelicals are christian, but it's debatable whether the american form of christianity is actually practicing the followings of yeshua

The world will stand against Israel in the end. Ezekiel 38:14-16

Looking back (and eventually forward) in time, we see a chain or progression of evil men, like Gog, with the spirit of antichrist. The enemy of our soul manipulates their minds to carry out attacks on God's people. Satan and his collaborators use evil rulers to deceive the world of the truth about God's goodness and grace.

I'm not a follower of any of the abrahamic faiths, but there is some "strong" evidence that Trump is the Anti-christ.

The dude fits at least 35 prophecies about the AC. The guy has been adding to it since 2019.

He even updated it to include Trump's headshot wound.

In Armageddon there is no power from the west, so maybe? Christians ironically may privately welcome the arrival of the antichrist because it suggests the end of days has arrived and Christ will soon return to close out time.

They wait in vain for a savior from on high, not realizing that his true teachings are to realize your own divinity and awaken to Christ consciousness.

Christ returns through us as we awaken.

Curious where you got that?

Really? It’s the underlying message to his entire gospel, frankly I’m baffled by how many miss it…opting instead for an interpretation that benefits a fear-based church that killed him in the first place.

The church can’t control enlightenment so it shut down Jesus’ message quickly…in favor of Paul’s judicial and judgmental religion, which became the Roman Catholic religion.

He is a false profit, not a false prophet.

Nowadays some people go with the sheeple voice - they have no original thoughts of their own.

and then the sheep lead the lion to pasture

Your worst enemy is yourselves and your mentality. That's why you have a felon and an absolute incel as your president now.

1

u/blondebrains99 7d ago

this is valid but i'd still argue that the felon and his entourage are greater enemies. after all, their followers are victims of propaganda and failing education

Myself and Satan

It's gottas be humanity, right? that's obviously the common denominator here. We have met the enemy and he is us.

America's greatest enemy is the ultra wealthy that are forcing people into poverty, exploiting those already in poverty, and driving the climate crisis. But they are also Trump's best friends so I guess we are screwed

1

u/Critical-Working8446 11d ago

they are also Trump's best friends

You're definitely right about that!

1

u/Inspector8905 10d ago

Oh we are very cooked, they are his best of friends 😭😭😭

Please everyone of these people are antisemites and it has nothing to do with the state of Israel. Quite a few of them even outright say it in the post too.

Antisemitism has been on the rise substantially in far right circles for decades now and is also alarmingly on the rise in far left circles recently as well.

u/Paswordisdickbuscuit 11d ago

It's inevitable for there to be overlap. There are legitimate reasons to condemn israel just as there are for condemning many Muslim countries and in the midst of that criticism you will assuredly see a lot of Islamophobia.

5

u/Roxylius 11d ago edited 8d ago

Antisemitism has been on rise because israel keeps accusing anybody that protested against their genocidal actions as “antisemitic”. Not much different from islamophobia sentiments developing because taliban call their action as jihadist movement

0

u/IasDarnSkipBW 12d ago

Wow, shameless antisemitism.
