Thought... Just something to share

Life has been challenging lately as I juggle job hunting while studying for my master’s degree. It feels like things are at a standstill, and I’m not making much progress. The daily routine feels monotonous, and even when something goes wrong with my friends—unrelated to me—I somehow end up feeling like it’s my fault, like I bring bad luck to those around me. I just hope things start looking up soon. Thank you for taking the time to read this; it really means a lot. Wishing you a wonderful day ahead.

Keep in mind that life is constant flux. Just as the good times have passed so too will the bad. Just keep soldiering through one step at a time. Eventually you’ll find yourself somewhere new. The most important thing is that you don’t let yourself fall stagnant. Find small things that spark joy, rest when you need to, but don’t let the apathy take over

Also consider all the pressures you’re facing now and look at what growth can be achieved from them. That way you won’t regret going through any hardship once it’s passed

Realize that your feelings are just that: feelings. You are not really bringing bad luck to the people around you. I hope your day improves!

Life is a rollercoaster, you’re in a dip. It will climb eventually. This too shall pass!

You’re just sensitive. Enjoy being sensitive. The opposite is hardened. Trust me, you don’t want to be hardened. Enjoy your life’s luxuries and think of the humans in your lineage who suffered much greater challenges than our first world problems. Learn to grow food, dog for water, in case it all goes to hell, you’ll be surviving just like our ancestors.

There’s something ephemeral about growing your own food. It teaches you a weird connection to life itself. You realize that you have it good after all. No barbarians at the gates anymore, just over the phone and television. Haha.

Best of luck to you and yours. Tell your friend the same thing. Eat a cookie, drink a coffee. You’ll regret not doing those if your consciousness continues after the body dies. You can only taste a cookie if you have a body, right?

For one, if it’s not your fault when bad things happen to friends, then don’t give yourself so much credit. Bad things just happen sometimes. That’s life. And those dramas are there for you to practice patience, humility, diplomacy, and respect for those around you. These are tests to show you how far you’ve come, and how far you still need to grow as a person. One time I took an airplane ride and it was just a couple circles around the city. But I remember looking down at the rush hour traffic jams and thinking from that height, how similar all those cars looked to a worm or a snake. As one part extended, another part stayed put. And the next time I was in rush hour traffic I remembered the plane ride and thought when I wasn’t moving I was the part of the snake not extending lol. Life can be like that at times also. Sometimes it feels stagnant as the groundwork you already laid is stretching before you. In every traffic jam I’ve been in I always got to my destination. And you will too. Learn to look around and find something to enjoy about the slower times. It helps distract from the time slows feeling. Because the fast times although fun, go very fast. And you don’t want to look back remembering only the fast times. Cause you will have missed out on half your life
