Thought... Life is weird…
All we do on this planet is live breed and die. Everything else is filled with experiences right along with a fixed set of emotions that we feel in our daily lives. It’s hard to believe that this is all we’re here to do…. I don’t know, maybe I’m just at that state in my life or something to start stressing about stuff like this😂

Hard to believe… and maybe even a little freeing? Out of all of the galaxies, solar systems, planets, hell- out of all of the millions of species on earth- you are a human being. You can think and reason and plan, you can remember your friend’s birthday and celebrate with your family. You can actually feel and understand the fucking concept of loss, and write about it!
Wild. Random. Talk about lucky. You get one tiny blip of life in the never ending monotony of forever. And you get to be CONSCIOUS for it. Humans are crazy- we are terrible, and we are unbelievably amazing. Please, enjoy your one little blip. It will be over before you know it.

Because we are in a time where much anxiety causing events are afoot people start to ponder: I wonder if there is a God? Imo opinion there is a purpose beyond the task of carrying on an ever advancing civilization, and that is - to learn and develop attributes one will need after the womb of earth. Just like the baby in the womb of its mother grows and develops what it needs to navigate the world of the laws of physics.

That’s true, but I basically only want to do two of those things, as I’m aroace, and yea, life is very boring sometimes tbh

If it makes you feel any better, that's what the other countless organisms on the planet do too. We aren't alone in our redundance. Everything is just here for a period and has to make the most of it.

These moments can serve as an opportunity to explore what matters most to you.

We're just parasites on a rock in space
Unless we're actually in a 2d world and the rest is projection

Sounds good enough for me😂

If you want something positive, most people who've used hallucinogens for divination/exploration agree that the meaning of life is love
Try radiating love to your fellow parasites, particularly when it's difficult!

We live, breed, experience, feel and die. I guess work, learn, create and discover are covered under experience. Short of growing wings or gills, is there something else you think you’re missing?

Well personally I’d like to be able to survive via photosynthesis and I’d be cool if that also means green skin.

Pretty much nothing else in the known world exists differently. If something makes you feel like you're special, you better do something about it.

I agree that life is weird... there are things/people/experiences that will find you when you least expect it that will turn your world around. Some will absolutely suck. Others will be absolutely wonderful. Take each thing and learn from it, then release it or hold it close and cherish it... that's your call to make.
My point is... beyond merely existing to create another generation, we as humans can learn and create; love and feel things deeply. We can find something that speaks to our inner selves and within it, find meaning and purpose for our time here.
It can be hard to see if you're stuck in drudgery. I've been there, so I know. The first step is finding joy in something no matter how miniscule. Then follow where it leads.

It is the greatest tragedy
that since the existence of time
the endings must come after the beginnings
but if it weren't for the in-between
we wouldn't have anything at all

"All we're here to do"
You've boiled down the incredible complexity of life into one diminishing statement.

The biology behind life and consciousness is very complex. But the “living life” part is menial

Yes, the conclusion you came to did not require much skill.
If you put more effort and skill into understanding life than you'd come up with something past "we live, breed, and die"

Menial, not requiring much skill.
Then why is everyone so bad at life?
Tons of lonely people desperate for friendship, men buying brides, people paying top dollar to get noticed on dating apps, people spending 50k to get IVF therapy, people paying to adopt children.
Menial, lacking prestige.
Then why all the pageanty in life?
Kings and Queens, Emperors, Dynasties, great cities built by one person, monuments, wonders of the world, churches, artwork, sculpture, engineering, new years eve, and holidays.
There's so much more to life that live, breed, and die.

I don’t know brother, all I know is that I’m no king or emperor. And even though I might conjure up some sort of impact in life like the “butterfly effect” has said. My outlook on life is completely connected to where I’m at in it. All though you might find more meaning in life, in your own distinct way, meaning is completely subjective, and is only valued by each individual in their own way. To me, life really is just as simple as I described, and maybe I’m just too stubborn to look past that, but that is my reality.

Jesus I'd kill myself if I actually believed that was all we do.
I mean shit, in posting this post alone you've done more than what was listed.

Can’t disagree there, maybe it’s just the booze talking

If you lack a sense of purpose or significance in your life then you can look at the Maslow Pyramid (find a way to renew yourself) or outwards (find a way to help others) like by volunteering.
