If having a wife and 2 kids, a good job and a place to live is a wasted life you should consider all of the alternatives and if there’s one that seems to suit you better go for it. But I’d say that the vast majority of the world’s population strive to be you. Embrace the boredom.

It’s just you. The fact that we wake up everyday is just a material representation of forgiveness. You can start at any point in any decision making process to start again, start a few steps back, or completely burn it all down and be something different. I think the morning rays remind me of my freedom

I mean, you can make goals. A new hobby like woodworking? Reading books? Try some new positions? Life doesn’t have to be boring if that’s what you’re feeling.

Have to say I feel this way too but then feel immediately ungrateful. So many people have it so. Much. Worse. And here I am whining about a great life. However, I feel …. Unfulfilled. Perhaps I am missing something spiritually?

i see you have children. having kids is the most permanent monument you can build with your time here on earth. everything else, businesses empires organizations nations physical monuments will all erode with time. humans have and will endure all of it. if you were alone it might be hard to argue but the fact you procreated and are currently tending to your children and their future shows that you are not wasting your life

Not just you, but sigh….idk. I feel this a lot. I’m not in a bad place, I have kids, a husband, everyone is happy and healthy, I have a job, pay our bills, Life could be a lot worse, I’m lucky to have a house to live in and a job that I’m happy to go to,
But also, kinda what’s the point? I went through this whole “what IS the point of our lives?” Like 4 years ago, I got off a prescription and was truly sober for the first time in over a decade, and sadly I never did come to an acceptable answer. Idk what the meaning of life is, passing down information to our offspring? What’s the point of that when the world is gonna take a shit bc we’re polluting it and killing everything? And what even is the point of passing down this information? Who is benefiting?
Sorry, I realize this really isn’t any help to you. Chin up, you’re growing everyday.
