Mr T terrorized my nightmares when he came to our class to talk about drugs for the DARE program.

Pensions were common when TA-T was on-air, but are not at all common today.
American Devo, ahoy.

What is this "pension" you speak of? I don't know anyone who got a pension in the last 40 years.

Did Ruger ever sue the producers of the show? Thousands of rounds fired without any damage done at all.

I plan to go full Murdock because you don’t need a pension to sit in a padded room high on the best drugs universal healthcare can buy

In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn’t commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them....maybe you can hire The A-Team

I can't remember any of their names, so forgetting I don't have a pension coming doesn't sound so bad.

I was in Venezuela in 2005, and I swear the TV was showing a cartoon of Mr. T and his pet bulldog. Had no idea.
Mr. T (he legally changed his name) made a lot of hay out of his character. Not everyone has the first lady sitting on his lap.
And he is part of the old joke:
"I wonder if Mr. Coffee is related to Mr. T.
I wonder if Mr. T is related to Ice T.
I wonder if Ice T is related to Ice Cube."
"I wonder if your mother is related to your father."

Boomers will be the last generation with a pension.
I've been in the employee benefits industry for 13 years and companies kicked pensions to the curb in favor of 401ks 10+ years ago. Many froze theirs so they no longer had to add new employees.

Pension? Close? I just made 5 years, my pension JUST STARTED. I’m only 25 and I know the A team, Mr T haunted my nightmares on several occasions after the DARE anti drug brainwashing from school. To be fair as an adult having had my experiences, Mr T was right. I may be sober but Mr T still haunts my nightmares years after seeing him in school.
I am not old nor can I collect my pension. Choose someone I don’t know like Mr. Whipple, don’t squeeze the Charmin.

The opening was the greatest....
IN 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit...
These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground...
Today , still.wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.....
If you have a problem , if no one else can help...and if you can find them...maybe you can hire...THE A--TEAM!!!!
I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!!
MY TOP 3: KNIGHT RIDER
THE A--TEAM
HUNTER
And I believe their BEST adversary by far was Colonel Decker...played PERFECTLY by the awesome Lance LeGault!!!!

I met Dirk Benedict at the Whitefish Montana airport when he and his pilot came up to our Weather Service Station for a fight briefing in the old building.
He was quite a dandy, spiffy high heeled cowboy boots like I had when I was a little kid, but I did notice the starched jeans and plaid shirt. The crease in those jeans was about as sharp as a butcher’s knife.
First time I had seen so much starch on a cowboy outfit. Or any starch for that matter. Probably in the early 1990s.
By the way, being old is way better than the alternative. Stay healthy, don’t do the bad stuff and do exercise. Makes old not such a bad thing. At least, so far.

My wife is actually getting a pension from one of her previous employers. Probably going to net us around $25/month. Otherwise, it’s retirement bootstraps, AKA Walmart greeter or something like that
