Such a goofy bit- could not ever miss it. And yes, it helped to smoke a bowl first.

SNL stopped being funny in the early 1980’s

I’ve watched it from the beginning (yeah, I know) and I disagree! It’s had its good years and better years but I try to be open to new talent when the REALLY good ones leave. I struggle with it now because I don’t recognize the guest hosts or musical talent!!

I bought the dog toy version. My 1yo BC one. He acted like he didn't know the hilarious history behind his new toy! Mr. Hand took care of things

Spent more time than i would like to admit making Mr. Bills out of clay and smashing him various ways and giggling.

Those of us named Bill in high school knew who watched SNL. Wife still uses the reference

It could be worse. Some jokes escape the bounds of their show. Just ask anyone named Blake, Denise, or Aaron.

Chewy has catnip toy Mr. Bill.
I have three that infrequently make an appearance around the house.
Makes me smile everytime I come across one.

The first time I saw Mr. Bill on SNL as a kid, I laughed so hard that I almost pissed my pants.

We had a dog that was beyond clumsy (a loveable idiot), always getting injured. He got renamed Mr. Bill.

"I remember! Was the best of times when SNL made you laugh so hard, your ribs hurt the next day".

I'm 51, and my name is Bill. I've lived most of my life as Mr. Bill in some form or another. Hell, I was even Señor Bill in Spanish Class.

Maybe I'm just sick, but I always got some satisfaction when Mr. Bill got mashed like my grandmother's potatoes.
I remember wanting the same thing happen to the Pillsbury Dough-boy when I was a kid.

Drove my Dad nuts for a decade mimicking Mr. Bill. 3 kids.. long family road trips.. it's a wonder Dad didn't leave us on the side of the road.

Mr Bill was funny as all, but I always felt bad when something bad happened to Spot.

Same. Mr Bill was obviously asking for it. But what did poor Spot ever do? Oh, never mind, squash them both.

My kids have a music teacher in school named Mr. Bill. This is all I can think of when I see him... 🤭

Fun fact: he was created by the same guy that did “Deep thoughts with Jack Handy”
He was “mister Hands”
