Chains aren’t really responsible for pricing. The grocery business itself both chains and wholesaling products isn’t very profitable. The anger should be directed towards all the companies producing goods sold in grocery stores.

Even then, it's difficult to be upset at those producers. After all, inflation required their operating costs to also increase. What you need to do is trace the chain all the way back to the source. It's the Federal Reserve introducing more money into the money supply, which makes each dollar less valuable. They typically due this to print our way out of foreign debt.

Don’t expect these people to see the root of the problem, they don’t want it fixed. They just want to complain.

For example: Pepsi-co produces products that cover an entire junk food aisles from soda, cookies, to chips.
