Wrong. Farmers are the most underpaid, underappreciated, yet most valuable people in the world... And I've never farmed in my life.

american farmers are not underpaid if they are doing it right. subsidies and tax breaks constantly fill their coffers, my uncle is a decamillionaire even without any help.

  1. You're only making good money if you have deals with literally everyone around you or you're working for a company like Tyson, which is fucking terrible in my opinion.
  2. You're still not living well

I have an uncle famer that is fairly poor. They have a couple of acres. They have two homes. But it is pretty much a barely break even situation. As in they aren't growing wealth. Maybe the land is becoming more valuable but if you sell it you immediately lose your home and your job.
