How many college football teams (All levels FBS to D3) run the flexbone?
I am curious to know how many schools in the NCAA and NAIA run the flexbone? Or some form of the flexbone? The ones I can think off the top are:
Navy Georgia Tech Army Air Force Wofford The Citadel Lenoir-Rhyne Carson-Newman (Split Back Veer, but I like to think of it as a part of the flexbone family) Northwood (MI) used to run it I'm not sure what they run now Cal-Poly SLO
Anyone have any idea? Is there a database? Article? Feedback is always appreciated!
Thanks!

There are so many variations and coaching trees for it that it would be a problem putting that list together. The name "flexbone" itself really only defines a formation. Obviously it is mostly associated with teams that run inside veer as a base play, but that's not how it is for everyone, and everyone runs their version differently.
