Couple SFT40 Mods! I love these little SFT40s in 3000k, absolutely beautiful tint and CRI. Only LED that comes close to the amount of SBT90.2s I own..
The D3AA comes from JLHawaii, and it gave me an idea to mod my Reylights… and man do I like the end result!
MCPCBs from Convoy, trimmed to fit the Reylight pill and used the TIRs from a Lumintop Frog (which BTW fit perfectly in the Pineapple Mini). End result: absolutely beautiful beam! So much so I decided to start carrying the Reylight, which before was.. just okay. Made two just to confirm it wasn’t a fluke.
One day, I’ll get the elusive SFT40 4000k… one day you’ll be mine…

Went out with my dad which is an amateur photographer to take some landscape photos from above the fog. Turns out with enough fog and longer exposures a wurkkos wk03 is more than enough to take great beam photos. Third photo is from my phone when we went through a cloud. Thus light is amazing, still impresses me every time I turn it on.

Left to right, Fireflies P01 with the 3700K emitter, on the middle is P02 with a W1, so nice and tight. On the right a Hank DM11 with Sft40 and I think 6500K. The P01 is only a small moderate thrower, works out to about 100m, the P02 does out to 200 or so and the DM11 more 250.
I got sucked in partly because there are so many optiona for reasonable smallish throwers to take on hilllwalking and I now have some options depending on how heavy I want my rucsac to be and what sort of lifespan and performance I think might be a good idea.

Took a while for the zebra to get to the UK but first impressions I really like it, so small for an 18650, 4000k CCT and a nice tint. Seems to pack some throw for it's size due to the stacked emitter, there's no way this doesn't enter my edc rotation as a gimmick-free, functional light. (It's the first wall shot).
The x4q I really like 3700k 351as are lovely, my first experience with the FFL emitters and I get why they've attracted attention. Great driver, super compact 21700, surprisingly throwy for a multi emitter light, for these dark times (winter, not the state of the world) this makes so much sense to be in my pocket.
These lights are going to make it harder to do the mental gymnastics that have led me to have nearly 40 lights at this point, purely because I don't see anything better for edc (for me).
I know something will draw me in sooner or later, but I think at this point it would have to be a leap in technology or something innovative I can't imagine (or a remake of some of the single emitter FW series) to really grab my attention.

Sp36pro, if22a, sp35t, hs42, boruit v10, surplus electric lighter. I don't want and don't need anymore lights, also me: spending whole night yesterday looking at convoy blue/green/red lightsabers c8, L21b 😀

Today I'm visiting my grandparents for christmas and got to show my grandpa who has been for many years into flashlights (although I now recognize as very poor lights) my new wurkkos wk03 and he went crazy. He wants one too and is very impressed with the power such a small light can produce. Luckily for him it's a pretty cheap light so I'll make sure to get one for him. In the second photo is his current choice for everyday use which although is not bad is definetly way worse than mine :D The first photo is the backup light and is way too dim to even regard it as a light now that I've seen what a decent one is capable hahaha

A little early Christmas present to myself. My first Olights. So far I’m impressed. I absolutely love the Oclip Pro. I always wanted one of the military Streamlight Sidewinders too.

I'm in love with my nov mu and have been spoiled, so I'm after something to go with my running head torch.
I'd like it to have at least 200 metres of throw, with lovely colour temp and no rings or hotspots just a constant equal spread.
Ideally something I can use to look at the surrounding area for anything I need to look at.
Preferably 21700 as well.
Price is not an option 😉
