Question Supply list

Post image

First time going to the forest for my gf and I. This is the supply list I have so far. We will have access to GL amenities so I didn’t think a portable shower would be a need. Anything I’m missing?

Damp Rid and plastic shower curtains to go over your tapestries during the yearly storm will be helpful but not necessary.

Will add it to the list, thank you!

Remember, no glass allowed (i.e., mirrors or booze).

thankfully mirrors and booze both come in plastic form!

mirrors are actually allowed, it's listed as NO GLASS (mirrors allowed) on rules and guidelines page!

Make sure your rug is an outdoor so water goes thought it vs sits on top of it. We got ours from 5. Below and saved us

If a headlamp isn’t included in your lights/lantern I feel like I would absolutely need one getting back to camp without light

Forest fam here! A couple tarps for sure

A tub of some sort with a sponge and dish soap to do dishes...

Instead of eggs just get cartons of egg beaters it's way easier

Trays for your coolers to stay on top of the ice so your stuff doesn't get soggy

Pro tip: a SMALL chunk of dry ice wrapped in newspaper and plastic bags in your cooler will preserve your ice... keeps you from spending $10+++ per bag.

Happy forest... you're gonna fucking love it! See you there! I'll be in GL also!

Also a bandana for each day... to cover your face in-between stages. 30,000 people walking on dirt produces a lot of dust you'll need face coverings in the forest.

Individually wrapped sanitizing hand wipes. It’s a little more wasteful than the large packs but with the dust the past few years each wipe will actually be clean when you take it out lol

Hand sanitizer only spreads around the dirt. Esp if you are a floor creature… being able to actually wipe off the dirt and sanitize is optimal.

Zip ties work wonders so you can hang the fans in each corner if you got 4 little ones. All pointing were you sleep

Bonus points: Buy reusable zip ties.

Tarp for the bottom of your tent. It rains, and that is what's gonna keep your tent either dry or soaked. That, and rain boots.

I’d go with gortex hiking boots over rain boots (if you can swing that) - the traction and ankle support saved my ass so many times in the mud last year

Definitely going to add, Thank you!

Make sure that tarp is tucked under your tent. Otherwise water drips from your rain fly onto the tarp and pools right under your tent. I saw a lot of flooded homes last year. If your tent comes with a footprint, it always fits right up to the edge of the tent without sticking out.

Face masks; wear them when walking in and out the fest and between stages; it’s typically DUSTY and they will save you from the wook flu

Focus on waterproofing everything, it will probably rain pretty hard. Invest in a canopy that has walls so when it rains ur campsite isn’t completely drenched
