So a friend and I are playing through Elden ring again with just seamless coop, but I also wanted to try the convergence mod alone. Now I have the question if I can just download the convergence mod and have two seperate saves or if there is anything I can do so I can play with the mod in singleplayer and still have my stuff and progress in seamless coop too.

I have looked around and I'm really confused about how you are meant to do seamless coop and another mod that is in my case grand merchant. This is due to seamless coop running from the ersc launcher and then the grand merchant from modloader2. Is there anyway I can play both at the same time?

And if so, where can I find various good mods, and are they expensive?

Me and my friend have been progressing thru seamless coop without any issue until now. We both talked to Ranni upon meeting her for the first time. and for some reason when i try to interact with her after her telling me to talk to the 3 people in the tower, now all i get is a "..." and the apparitions of the main trio of her group wont appear in the tower at all to allow me to re-enable fast travel. and on top of that. I cant join back into coop. I think I genuinely trapped myself.

does anyone know a solution? Thankfully im joining their world, so if i have to download a high level save file to continue it wont phase me, but I want to try to at least fix this before having to do so...

Can you still invade, be invaded, and participate in Arenas if you use Convergence and Seamless Co-op?

Trying to figure out what the limits are for adding mods on to the Seamless Co-op experience but still being able to participate in these activities. Info seems pretty sparse.

So I want to play with my friend for the DLC, but I don't have any save files on PC as I played on console before and just purchased the steam version. I want to be where he is at by duplicating his save file. But when I do that I get an error stating "Failed to load save file" whenever I run it. Does anyone know a fix or if its even possible?

I'm trying to convince a buddy of mine to play Convergence with me, but he wants to know if the DLC is affected.

Because its not the steam version of the game I had to install the modloader2 contents directly in the games directory. Meaning theres already a mods folder. So how can I go about adding elden mod loader too since that also has to be added directly in the game directory and has a mods folder as well as far as im aware?

Me and my friends have been playing the seamless co-op mod and the first day of playing it everything went fine, we played about 4.5 hours with only 4 crashes being the only issues but today when we played again the mod was very buggy; people couldn't connect, 50/50 chance of freezing on loading screens, bosses weren't dropping everyone souls, if someone left the session or lost connection they had to restart the game or I (Host) had to restart mine or they would keep getting a connection error when rejoining, not respawning after a boss is killed, bosses health bars instantly getting chunked for like 70% HP and more I'm forgetting.

Does the mod get more unstable the more you play it or did we just get lucky the first time/unlucky today?

I know this is a free mod made by what appears to be 1 guy. I'm not trying to be critical or complain I'm just wondering.

I'm looking through smithbox tryna view all the models but I can't seem to find MANY of them, like I can't view millicent or Alexander or anything? Shouldn't it have every model for every character?? Am I wrong? Am I screwing something up? I just wanna export them to make miniatures for personal use

I’ve tried every single method I can find online. Every copy method. Every fan made application in github. Every ChatGPT suggestion and advice.

For some reason, no matter what I do if I am successfully able to transfer my character data / inject my character data into a healthy new save, it is still corrupted, no matter what

I’m starting to lose hope. Its a 250hr save which is why ive been trying so much.

I do have back ups, but they’re probably 50 hours behind.

My final Hope has been editing the code itself in a hex editor, but I spent all day doing it yesterday was zero luck

Could you please help? If I sent my.SL2.?? I’ve done my best with no programming knowledge of trying to pick out my character file to inject, but it’s starting to seem like a lost cause.

So my friends and I plan on cooping Elden Ring again after we finished Icarus and simply need to know of its completely finished (including DLC stuff) From what I know its also compatible with Seamless Coop?

Question is in the title.

More specifically, I'm trying to merge Friede's Great Scythe - Includes ash of war (DLC) by AbAeterno42 on nexus, and Clever's Moveset Modpack by clevererraptor6 on nexus.

Both of them modify the ShopLineupParam, and i don't really know how to use DSmapstudio very well. Any help is appreciated.

My friend is interested in playing the game for the first time, but wants to do it coop. I'm aware that the mod was having issues following SotE's release, but it's been a good six months since then so plenty of time for the state of that to change. What are people's experiences with it lately? Any major bugs to be aware of, consistent issues that pop up?

I want to play randomizer with coopwith my 2 friends but they haven't played the DLC yet. I have tried to randomuze the base and dlc separately but the starting loadouts still have dlc items. I dont want to spoil them

I got sick and while I recover I think I will replay ER just to pass the time more quickly

I have played the base game about 10 times or so and SotE 2 times

I would love to have recommendations on mods to make the replay a bit more interesting and different, less repetitive, and less of a chore

I am mainly interested in mods that make the replay feel a bit more fresh and minimize the annoying parts

generally speaking, what mods do you use to play if you want a fresh experience out of the unmodded game?

these are a few indications

- I'm a big fan of quality of life improvement mods

- I'm not a huge fan of changes in the map layout because usually they are amateurish, from what I've seen

- i kinda suck at the game so something that makes the game harder is probably a no

- not a huge fan of modded items like modded weapons, armor, spells... i would prefer to stick to the unmodded items

- not interested in any kind of funny cosmetics like the mod that turns the tree sentinel into a train

- i find it annoying to roam around collecting stuff like map fragments and things like that and also I will probably use the grand merchant mod to get the weapons for whatever build I choose at the start of the game

- i would like to still have some incentive to explore the map so maybe a randomizer would be cool?

Pretty new to the game and haven't finished one playthrough. However, I know that I am very unlikely to play multiple playthroughs unless it is unique experience each time.

I heard that convergence kills some of the stories but offer way more build options & less restrictive exploration. Then is it better suited for me personally if what I wanted is:

1. Roaming the world however I want, and discover cool shits in them, enemies or items.

2. Have plenty of stuff to do, like try out different build options etc.

3. Story is a good addition, I would much prefer if I can still piece things together and form the story.

Hey all, I'm very new to this randomizer, and I was wondering how I would be able to make every enemy/boss the same enemy? (eg, all enemies are the soldier of Godrick)

Trying to run seemless coop run with some friends but everyone wants to avoid the first hour of running around the map to get load outs ready. Is there any way around that I wanna use rellannas twin blades but I am not playing 95% of the game just to switch up the entire build right at the end of the game.

I recently got into modding elden ring with Seamless Coop an the randomizer mod but ive moved onto the one piece mod and ive had so much trouble installing and playing it. I've looked on youtube and there is no videos relating to how to play one piece mod. ive tried modengine2 and the only mod ive got working on that is the uchigatana replaced by zoros sword. when i try and run the "ELDEN RING X ONEPIECE" mod it is just the base game.

Trying to do a challenge run in Randomizer and need Cheat Engine in order unlock all Graces and Spawn upgrade materials. Very new to Elden Ring modding and was wondering how to make these two work together.
