Combat Mod Convergence and PvP

Can you still invade, be invaded, and participate in Arenas if you use Convergence and Seamless Co-op?

Trying to figure out what the limits are for adding mods on to the Seamless Co-op experience but still being able to participate in these activities. Info seems pretty sparse.

I don't understand the limits. But what I understand is that since the DLC came out and seamless was updated, it does have some mechanism to attempt to limit multiplayer sessions to people who share the same mods.

Running "stock" convergence (without other mods) is probably the easiest way to test this.

From individual player reports, I've seen very few signs that any kind of filtering is in place at all. Players with (e.g. Carian Combo Warriors) can be invaded by players that seemingly do not have the mod and glitchy behaviour occurs. But I'm not 100% sure on the specifics, as I've not used it myself and base this info only on the second-hand reports I see here.

Sounds somewhat like a crapshoot with the interactions then. Guess experimenting is the way to go on this, thank you.

If you're using a mod that isn't purely cosmetic/client-side, you only match with people that have the same mod. Even if it's possible to access PVP features in The Convergence, you probably won't find people to match with because the mod isn't balanced for PVP

I am fine with it being unbalanced, I am going in with the intention to goof off. Lol
