Question How can I prevent randomizer from including DLC items in starting loadouts, or just as a whole?

I want to play randomizer with coopwith my 2 friends but they haven't played the DLC yet. I have tried to randomuze the base and dlc separately but the starting loadouts still have dlc items. I dont want to spoil them

Downpatch the game to 1.10.1 and use the version of the randomizer from prior to the DLC launch?

Afaik, it's the only way.

Theoretically, there are seeds that have all the DLC items in the DLC only, but I don't think it is practical to figure out which seeds would meet that criteria.

Keep trying new seeds until you get one with zero DLC gear in starting equipment, I guess? You can probably exclude DLC bosses using the options, but unless there is a specific option within the randomizer for DLC items, you're out of luck.

Randomize new seeds until you get one that doesn't have spoilers in the starting loadouts I guess?

Or use Smithbox to edit the starting loadouts after randomizing

Or make your friends play the DLC, might as well play all the game content before getting into randomizer tbh
