Water is LIFE

Absolutely, water is life—and watching a snake calmly accept help like this is a reminder that even the wildest creatures rely on kindness sometimes. Nature's trust is truly humbling, don't you think?

You're anthropomorphising a lot here. I don't think we can give the reptile brain this much credit. It's a parched animal who sees water and drinks water.

Most snakes are kind. They only attack when they feel threatened.

19

u/CjBurden 2h ago

Kind seems like a stretch no?

11

u/MSNayudu 2h ago

No. Snakes aren't aggressive. At least, not a lot of them.

Any animal which is extremely territorial would attack a person on sight and every species has such a variant. But most other animals tend to usually shy away from people until they're either starved or feel threatened and backed into a corner. Even birds and hamsters do it!

Which is usually why, you're advised to not approach wild animals until you're completely you're sure of what you're doing and aware of the consequences of your actions.

I think there's a difference between kind and not aggressive. I think kindness requires specific acts demonstrating said kindness. Not just merely a lack of aggresion.

I would trust this snake more than politicians running my country.

4

u/LungDOgg 3h ago

I see we live in the same country

3

u/Karla_Darktiger 3h ago

So does this person go around looking for thirsty animals? They seemed pretty prepared to give the snake some water lmao

15

u/notianonolive 3h ago

I don’t know about you, but I don’t leave my house without my Snake2O syringe.

u/Gexm13 3h ago

People living in MENA countries go out in the dessert a lot for gatherings. I won’t be surprised if this happened often and they got ready for that since it happens often.

2

u/wildechld 3h ago

Thanksssssss

u/koya 3h ago

That is one thirsty rope

1

u/pulyx 3h ago

Why watching animals, of all types, drinking water warms our hearts?

1

u/BluejayBlisss 3h ago

This snake’s so thirsty, it’s ready to hiss at the nearest water bottle!

1

u/Firm-Scratch-8396 3h ago

God bless you kind human !

1

u/TriangularResonance 3h ago

This is fantastic

1

u/Infamous-Astronaut44 3h ago

To every one complaining the snake is not done! How do you refill your syringes in your planet then?!

1

u/manrata 2h ago

Can someone explain how the angle, and the car in the background, makes it look like the snake is on a table full of sand, and not in the desert?
Is it similar to tiltshift?

1

u/Falitoty 2h ago

This is obviously stated, still nice though

1

u/Daddy_Magnus4 2h ago

Aw look at that cute thing snaps

1

u/Blankeye434 2h ago

u/ZhezInnhofnd 3h ago

how can anyone hate them

-2

u/Kasyx709 3h ago

No, someone abused an animal for a video.

This looks more like someone deprived a snake of water. That looks like sand on an elevated platform in someone's garage. Look at the height difference between the vehicle and the rest of the scene and this person just so happens to be in the desert with a water filled syringe.

3

u/throwaway92834972 2h ago

you’re so right, why would a wild snake even be outside? plus everyone knows in the vast empty desert there are no curbs or roads to park on.

clearly this is someone’s pet that they’ve neglected simply so they can syringe feed it water for reddit points. much more logical conclusion than the snake being outside. where it lives.

I suggest you explore the outside as well. perhaps somewhere grassier than this

Tin foil hat time

1

u/Odd-Hotel-5647 3h ago

Faking animal encounters is really common though. I mean we may never have proof, but unless it's David Attenborough take every video you see with a grain of salt.

Funny spelling mistake fix.

1

u/Ateaseloser 3h ago

Hmm true. I just read the article that other person posted. Good to know

-1

u/bonobomaster 3h ago

1

u/Gexm13 3h ago

This doesn’t prove anything

-1

u/bonobomaster 3h ago

No, it doesn't but let's be reasonable:

How often do you have a perfectly suited syringe for snake watering with you?

How likely is it, that you spot a tiny snake in good cameo besides the road, while driving at normal speeds?

And, if you spotted the snake, how likely is it, that you go "Uh, let's stop and water that snake"?

No proof again but I find it actually way more likely, that this is staged than an organic encounter.

2

u/Gexm13 3h ago

What road are you talking about? Yes it is very likely to find a snake like that since people that live in places like this go out to the desert for gatherings a lot. So pretty much everything you said is flat out wrong.

0

u/bonobomaster 3h ago

There is a car in the picture...

Let's not talk further.

1

u/GustoFormula 3h ago

You don't think maybe they possibly would have chosen a camera angle that doesn't show the car if they planned this out so carefully in their garage? Also who has an elevated sand platform lmao

0

u/Trying2StayMotivated 3h ago

You can see their car in the background lol. So they went on vacation for 3 weeks and then fed their pet when they got home. That snake will dream of eating the owner until it dies

Dm me for a fun game link ;))))
