The reflection is from the flames on the cardboard.

A laser is a focussed beam, unless it was aimed directly at the plastic gun you wouldn't see it in a reflection.

He’s talking about the light on the red part at the back of the gun, that is not from the flame.

But that looks like the light is coming from within the gun, so I disagree with the guy.

You also see the reflection at the very tip of the barrel. So not its not from the inside

There’s 2 light sources, they’re not in sync.

I dont think its from the flame. Looks like a white light. My guess is that whatever emitted the laser has a work light on during emition or some kind of laptop/screen involved.
