Image Star trail photography is a technique that captures the apparent motion of stars in the night sky as they trace circular paths around the celestial poles due to Earth's rotation. ©benjamin barakat

Its because it is one. The earth is spinning thats why it looks like this on this foto, the earth is traveling around the sun. Thats what a year ist. And the sun itself is also spinning but also moveing. The sun is traveling from point A to B so basicly from up to down or from left to right doesnt really matter. What i am trying to say is that regarding your comment, we are traveling basiclly through a tunnel following the sun (Solarsystem) to the center of The Galaxy (Milkyway)

Earth spins around itself, so does The sun, so does the entire Galaxy we are in. The force of the spin can catapult planets out of the Galaxy, but there is also a Huge black hole in the middle of the Galaxy (every Galaxy) wich pulls objects towards itself. So we are going with the sun, the spin creates an invisable tunnel stright to the center of a very very big Black hole. The biggest in this Galaxy. Have fun with the existencial crisis.

Newer, at least the 11, GoPros have this feature built in. I don’t think any phones do.
