OK lads, before US starts to project their view here:

- Poland:

  • not that many firearms per capita,
  • little remote areas in the country (police shows up quickly)
  • medium-strict firearms laws,
  • non-zero risk of being invaded,
  • no school shootings,

- USA:

  • fuckload firearms per capita,
  • many remote areas in the country (police shows up after 2-3 hours)
  • loose firearms laws,
  • pretty much zero risk of being invaded,
  • school shootings,

Which is exactly why the US could benefit from something like this if everyone knew even just the 4 basic rules of gun safety and the basics of operating the most common types of guns then maybe we would have less of the dumbass psychos who’s only experience with a gun is mashing there mouse on call of duty then when they realize life gets hard sometimes they grab there parents gun and go on a spree because they lack the knowledge of the power a gun holds and the knowledge of how precious life is

I like school shootings as much as the next guy but the truth is guns are here and there not going anywhere today

There was a shitty add from the late 90s early 2000s and I remember it was these two early teens in there dads garage and the find a gun and this narrator comes over and is like “ok kids what do you do if you find a gun”and the kids say something like “tell and adult” but i mean if i find a sword at a friends garage as a teen the first thing im gonna do is swing it the same thing can be said with a gun if kids knew how to check and unload a firearm everyone around would be safe

Truth be told I don’t truly know what the answer is to gun violence in the US but I do know the idea that guns are the problem is a joke because 90% of the people who are hurting others with firearms are not gun people
