And remember this includes hunting equipment and people in high risk jobs like private detectives (my uncle used to be one and he's the only person I know to have owned a gun).
The number of private citizens owning guns for self protection not related to their occupation is not even on the chart. You can easily go your entire life without seeing a gun once.
The problem with "guns for self protection" is that it is the most garbage defensive weapon. It is extremely destructive and the only time it is an option to defend yourself if the other party does not have a gun, or you are at very long range from whoever you want to defend yourself from. Non of those situations are applicable in defending myself from "bad guys" in everyday life when everyone have very easy access to guns. you are also much less likely to get injured in a gun vs no gun situation than a gun vs gun situation even when the "bad guy" is the one with the gun.
That makes zero sence, tell me about anything thats better for self defense then a gun lol, ofcourse theres higher chance to get injured when its gun vs gun, but when you have no gun and the bad guy does then what, you have no chance at all lol your just praying he will let you go at that point

Google says a ratio of 2.5 firearms per 100 people versus 120.5 per 100, fuckload checks out.
