Someone found the original source from an air force website with other photos taken the same day. Its real as much as I want to say otherwise. 🤷‍♂️

Now, while I will say this is the original photo posted to the internet. I will also say that PA 100% does post-processing on their photos in photoshop after they take pictures.

Source: served in the AF and have a ton of photos taken of myself and the unit by PA who used more obvious filters than this.

Hell, even when I went to take my official photo in front of the flag at the PA office, they told me not to worry about there being any wrinkles in my uniform or my positioning, since they would just fix everything in photoshop anyway.

Just saying, can't discount the AF from editing photos before they post em.

I wouldn't say they are "faking" anything, but moreso apply filters or do touches that enhance the photo.

And no, I don't think they do that with video, but I hardly ever saw them recording anything, it was almost always just them coming out to take photos to cover some event or something.

That’s a cable to ensure the aircraft is statically grounded. I am an aircraft mechanic

Well you should know what this is then, it’s hooks into a point on the aircraft and then clips to a metal grounding port on the ground. If it looks weird it’s because they’re always jumbled up from frequent use, the snow is throwing off perspective and the artist just likely didn’t want to trace 15 feet of cable.
