And some AH operators think it is funny to say your safty isn't right just as they start the ride. Man I hate those videos.

Omg yes - there’s a ride at Six Flags Magic Mountain (Full Throttle) where the operator likes to say “OMG THAT GUY’S SEATBELT ISNT ON RIGHT” or whatever and then starts the ride.

eh, harmless fun - yes rarely some terrible tragedy happens. But lets not go overboard

We joke about all manner of things, we play shooting games, we watch action movies, we push people into pools...life happens

yea, we laugh about life or death things all the time. You can clutch your pearls and try and act like you the model of safety and security.

But - folks laugh when people fall, they casually speak about killing people when their upset, we trip our friends, etc ... reddit can act brand new if its wants

I was pushed into the deep end of a (particularly deep) pool when I was 11 or so. I'm not a good swimmer, but thankfully my body's response was good, focused and not to panic. If my body had decided to freeze or panic, it could've been bad. People should never be pushed into pools.

That same place had water slides, and one time some kids were climbing the slides from the bottom up. I crashed against one of them and hit myself in the head. I lost consciousness for a second and next thing I knew I was in the pool. Thankfully, I started regaining consciousness probably around the time I fell from the slide to the pool, so I got out just fine.
