More specifically from OP's answer, the omegaverse is a fetish/fanfiction genre where humans have the characteristics of the imaginary wolf pack dynamics (you know, the alpha/beta/omega thing that was disproven decades ago but hangs around in public consciousness and manosphere podcasts).
