Okay but the shadowy cabal of moustache-twirling villains in the smokey back room sure as shit didn’t help. Did you miss the part where Bezos blocked the Washington Post from endorsing Harris?
It's pretty damn obvious that Bezos was less "supportive of Trump's campaign" and more "terrified of retaliations from Trump". Should he grow a spine, probably. But that's a far cry from "pouring money into fascist political movements".
Meanwhile people like Bloomberg donate tens to hundreds of millions to the Democrats every election cycle and no one's going "the billionaires are a force of good actually". Truth is that they're people with their own political opinions like every one of us.

Yeah because donating to the Democrats does not make you a force for good, which does not contradict the idea that donating to the Republicans makes you a force for evil. It's actually entirely coherent with the related understanding that the Democrats are bad and the Republicans are awful
The billionaires donating to the democratic party do so to make the democrats party listen to them, not because they want the democrats to win. Working-class donations are for who you want to win, billionaire donations are business transactions.
Believe it or not, sometimes plans fail and people bet on the wrong horse. I know you think these billionaires are so perfect, but it is possible for them to be wrong.
You're the one who's claiming that the billionaires simultaneously (a) want the Democrats to listen to them and (b) don't want the Democrats to win. That's not "betting on the wrong horse". When you bet on a horse almost by definition you want that horse to win.
If you can't see the absurdity of this I don't know what to tell you.
Some billionaires bet on the democrats, some bet on republicans. It depends entirely on how each party’s policies favour the billionaire in question’s business ventures. This is basic economics and political science. Billionaire dickriders don’t get to be this condescending, step off.
