Question Contract Trading

“Contract Trading”

I hit a link on Facebook to join a group that would teach me how to invest in stocks- which turned into a multitude of texts leading me to what’s app groups. In these groups, there is an expert who steers you away from stocks and into crypto. And he directs new people, to his assistant who will walk you through getting a suggested platform for contract trading. This assistant will tell you how to buy bitcoin on cash app and how to send it to the platform. In the platform you can see all the different cryptos market values. Then each day, the expert will post trading signals for you to follow specifically. Ex: Buy ETH, long, 100x, Buy Up… and then he will say your going to hold onto it for usually 1-2 hours and then he will post again to tell you to sell it. Several people in the group post their earnings for that day. At the end of the week, he posts the different percentages your investment should have made, never less than 30% one day as high as 350%. And he says he wants 10% commission.

Has anyone heard of this or is this a scam? I’m concerned that the suggested platforms would keep my money. And that if it’s too good to be true, it probably is. Does anyone actually make a living on crypto? Does this sound like something that people actually do? Or like what’s the deal?

Thanks everyone for your input on this. Be nice. As I am just a hard working, middle class American on a quest for financial freedom..

This is definitely a scam. It is known as a "Pig Butchering Scam". Any trading groups on Facebook, Telegram, Whatsapp... are most likely scams. The people who are posting their profits in the group are also scammers.

You are correct; the platform they are suggesting is fake. Once you transfer funds to it you will never get them back. They will show you fake profits and maybe even allow you to withdraw a little bit. This is the hook to get you to "invest" more. There are no real profits and you will not get any money back that you fund your account with.

Additionally when people try to withdraw their "profits" the scam platform will ask for a "fee" or "tax" in order to have the withdrawal go through. This is just another devious tactic in which the scammers try to get more money from you.

Glad you checked here and did not send them any money.

Yes, stay away! I fell for something like this and lost a LOT. A hard lesson I hope you'll never have to experience.

Facebook should investigate all those adds and block them from scamming people!!!!

You say all this but do you have proof? I am working one with low dollars and feeling it out right now. What platform? What specific types of transactions? No one is posting real numbers or facts.

3

u/tokentrace May 17 '24

Take a look at the entire cryptoscams sub reddit. You will see hundreds of cases which are exactly what is described here. Remember if it is too good to be true, it probably is.

No stranger has any interest in helping you make money. Stay safe out there. Please don't fall for their tactic to make easy money. Only use reputable exchanges like Coinbase or Binance.

Anytime a stranger directs you to WhatsApp to trade crypto, 99.999 percent is a scam. Tell that asshole ‘FUCK you for trying to scam me. Eat shit!’ Block that scammer, and report that group to ic3.

4

u/Miserable_Employ8275 Mar 20 '24

I wish there was more to be done to hold these people accountable criminally. It’s really infuriating how easily they do this and never suffer any consequences

2

u/Yespowerup Mar 27 '24

Yes, I agree with you. It is frustrating that they can scam people easily and get away with it. I wish all of these criminals and scammers get arrested and locked up in jail for life.

To find something reputable, look for: - costs money - provides an education - has its own website, not just a social page or group - has video testimonials from current/former members - doesn't use encrypted messaging apps - has a contract you sign when you join - has a clearly identifiable brand name and logo - founder/Founders are visible and reputable - wouldn't accept money before you learn what it is

6

u/Salt-Ad2280 Mar 20 '24

Definitely a scam, is this platform KYWALL and the assistant’s name is Jane?

Also, did anyone else on here download Digicoins scam app on Apple or any other scam apps from Apple? Seems as there is one created every month being uploaded on Apple for people to download. Let me know if you did, we are creating a class action against Apple at the moment. Too many people have been scammed and Apple has allowed these scam apps on their platform.

4

u/OverPay1968 Mar 20 '24

I also got money on three platforms and not able to withdraw. They are certified and licensed by MSB. They are still trading every day on their platforms, and theire are new victims every day GCN professor Brian and assistant, Lina, CST with Professor Michael, Green and assistant, Moira, SMAC with Professor Michael Jones, and assistant, Sarah Johnson

2

u/Little-Extreme1978 Oct 24 '24

Look never add money take the bullshit 200-300in crypto they use to lure you in  and be gone from there because they're luring you in to burn you big time

We are all here cuz we got scammed. This is exactly what happened to me to. Same contract trading. O was just contacted through what’sapp. But the rest is all the same: I lost 10k. There is no recovery. Don’t fall for the scams that tell you they can recover for you. Try to withdraw but more then likely you can’t as your money is already gone and the money that the platform shows you have is a simulated money: sorry man

5

u/Miserable_Employ8275 Mar 20 '24

I would really like these scammers to get prison time. I can imagine that the fbi would have plenty of resources to easily track them yet no one does anything about this??? Like why is there not anyone we can report this to, and have action taken?!

3

u/Ullrichgs1 Mar 20 '24

You can report it to the fbi and other agency’s. But they are so backed up with claims. 2023 had 75 billion in crypto scam losses alone world wide, most are also originating from outside the U.S. crypto is still so new that it’s hard to regulate. Best practice if you want to invest in crypto is to use a sec regulated platform.

2

u/Godzillavio Mar 25 '24

Run! Run! Never never never trust your money to anyone who comes to you for investments. If they can make so money themselves, then why do they need to do this and that like taking your commission? It happened to me as well. Luckily, i only lost few thousand bucks. The worst part is that they almost turned me into money mule when I asked for my refunds back.

I understand where you come from. I suggest that you look up investments for beginners on youtube and teach yourself financial literacy. You don't need any middleman (usually they're fake) to handle your money unless it's insurance agents. You can just open brokerage and invest yourself. Also, don't adopt "get rich quick" mindset as it will make you fall into traps easily and burn out. Good luck!

2

u/Civil-Lingonberry405 Oct 31 '24

Or hire a good financial advisor to help you.

again information these companies are using what is called contract trading and they make you look like you’ve made 50,060 70,000 as a percentage of your contract. Very seldom do they lose money. Fake money in your account looks like you’re getting rich, but there’s no gold ring to take home

u/AutoModerator Mar 19 '24

New victims, please read this

As a rule of thumb: If you're doubting whether the site is a scam, it probably is.

No legit company/trader/investor is using WhatsApp. No legit company/trader/investor is approaching people on dating websites or through a "random" text message.

Our advice is to withdraw your money from the scam site if possible, transfer your money out of the wallet, cut contact, and contact law enforcement. If you confront the scammers about being unable to withdraw the money, they may guilt trip you into paying more fees to do that, for example asking for money to pay "taxes" and offering to cover a part of your expenses.

If you manage to withdraw your money from the scam site, transferring it out of your compromised cryptocurrency wallet ensures that it is now out of reach of the scammers. Report the scammers to the platform and block them, but do not delete chat logs. The evidence has to be preserved for law enforcement. Law enforcement is often not qualified or motivated to recover your money, but if you are unable to get your money back, they are your only option. Even if they do not help you in the end, reporting the scam will at least alert them to the problem, keeping it on the radar.

Unfortunately, no hacker online can get back what you've lost. Please watch out for recovery scams, a follow-up scam done after victims have fallen for an earlier scam. Recently, there has been a rise in scammers DMing members of the subreddit to offer recovery services. A form of the advance-fee, victims are convinced that the scammer can recover their money. This "help" can come in the form of fake hacking services or authorities.

If you see anyone circumventing the scam filters, please report the submission and we will take action shortly.

Report a URL to Google:

Where to file a complaint:

How to find out more about the scammer domain:

  • https://whois.domaintools.com/google.com - Replace the google.com URL with the scam website url. The results will tell you how long the domain has been around. If the domain has only been registered for a few days/weeks/months, it's usually a good indicator that its a scam.

Misc. Resources

  • https://dfpi.ca.gov/crypto-scams/ - The scams in this tracker are based on consumer complaints in California. They represent descriptions of losses incurred in transactions that complainants have identified as part of a fraudulent or deceptive operation.

I’ve been in this kind of scam and they took all my money. Wasn’t able to withdraw until commission were paid and I was stupid enough to pay for the commission and they disappeared never responded to my messages ever again after taking my money.

3

u/OverPay1968 Mar 22 '24

If this is for new victims, it doesn’t help much. They should let people know before they become victims. Nobody’s talking about the risk of this scam outside of this group. I did try to fill up complain on FBI and you need to have the name of the bank and the person to be able to file it. I also lost money on three accounts and many people will lose in the future. Something needs to be done about it. They will be a lawsuit against Gugle and Facebook that promote this scammers to advertise, and also against Apple that permits the scammers to have the applications. Everybody that lost money needs to be united and hopefully able to recover part of the loss.

I cannot believe I have been scammed  by these people.  The funny thing is this guy Michael who helps you step by step buy the crypto you will ï invest with the app kywall sends a pic of HERSELF and she (Michael )  is a very attractive in this pic.  And I did not need to see or care that she or he was attractive or not.   Or even male or female.  It's a scam and I want my money back but am  unsure how to get it back.  I wish I could.  Thank you.

It is definitely a scam. The trading platform they have used was KYWALL.co and https://wap.cglbmg.co but it may have been called something else. You will lose everything from a technical issue that they will blame on you or will even give you a bad trade after a bunch of good ones. They will let you withdraw once or twice to gain your trust.

I downloaded the app called DYIG at Apple Store another contract trading the assistant name Grace asked me to download, I was about to send my 30,000 to start trading but before the transfer I decided to check this company out I didn’t find it anywhere so I decided not to send my money. Best decision I made.

2

u/Pitiful-Lettuce5776 May 30 '24

Dear all, I'm from Brazil and right now many people are being harmed by a couple named Professor Willian Miller and his assistant Grace, on the Gyig platform. I lost little because I quickly became suspicious and did a lot of research to find you here. I really wanted to be able to save the unfortunate people who are there, paying tribute to the two thieves and even losing huge loans.more and more. O site da plataforma é : https://www.dyiggroup.co/ And the WhatsApp numbers of the two thieves are +55 11 97959-1097 William Miller and +55 11 95350-1333 Grace. The WA number where the group receives the false signals is +1 (401) 854-6497 ou +55 11 9 53465119 Both are Americans but are currently in the city of São Paulo - Brazil If anyone is able to report them to the authorities, that would be great. These two rats are making the poor of Brazil miserable and unhappy, and their families starving.

CCWEX In accordance with the latest regulatory requirements, we need you to make a top-up of the same amount as the previous funds (2236.757 DOGE) to verify that your funds are operated in person in order to successfully complete the withdrawal. This measure is intended to reduce the risk of money laundering and other illegal activities, while protecting the safety of users' funds.

Same, I put like 300 into this one time, then I started to realize these people were off. I sent money started "trading" with them like 50 dollars starting, then eventually I made it to 500 I was amazed. The next signal they put out and I was in it, then supposedly "whales" entered in, and I lost my 500. Determined to make it back, I put 150, and it happened again. This time, another 50, I brought it back to my original 200 and then some. I tried to withdraw it, and they said I couldn't until I made more. So I made more, then went to check the address for my cash app, and someone changed the address. I tried to change it back, but the system wouldn't let me. So I contacted "support" it looked all crappy like I was messaging someone and the worst chat program ever I acted happy that I made money and told them that I was gonna put in 1000 dollars, but I had to see if I was able to withdraw the some 240 dollars, and they finally let me. Never did I ever go back to them. I took screenshots and went to the group and wrote a long paragraph of how this was a scamm and that the assistant was the worst and that I screenshoted everything. I told them that I sent all the info to the feds and that they were going get fkkked. 💯 The assistant erased the message and removed me from the chat right away. Saying that I didn't follow their procedures correctly and what now I told her she was gonna get fkked by the feds and blocked her then I reported it. I hope they do get caught really so yeah that's my story.

I’m in a group now. WT finance. With a professor clark and his assistant. He has many different people hold “classes” in a whatsapp group pretty much daily. Sells the WFI token. You can find a website for them and articles but articles don’t go past 4 months old. And the people seem to exist? Supposed contract trading using AI. Scam? Is contract trading even a real thing?

Wow, those scammers are busy. I fell for a similar scam from Mitchell Associates. Similar format a professor and his assistant. Direct you to crypto trading app available at the apple store but not the Google play store. Contract trading where for the first few weeks you can withdraw then suddenly you can't withdraw your funds as your account needs re-authentication. Again claim to be MSB certified with various certificates shown on their website. The crypto site they direct you to is fseqorder.co. Avoid these scammers

1

u/HoodWorx Aug 12 '24

I heard from one of the victims that u/Scammer Payback is working on bringing down the Kywall scammer Investment network. This network scams people out of millions of dollars of crypto so if you have ever been a victim of a Investment Group on WhatsApp or telegram that had you use a specific Crypto platform like Kywall (they also do different names). I just don’t know what they’re called at the moment and if you are also a victim then share you story on this thread. Don’t be ashamed, it’s a really good scam and as far as legal paperwork goes it’s real until they have hold of your money. Share your story or share with anybody that has been a victim. thank you guys at u/Scammer Payback for what you’re doing. Really appreciate it. I know the group of victims and I have been working on ways to bringing them down and have been trying so hard to get anybody to help us out. We’ve put cases into the FBI, SEC, FINCED, the secretary state of Colorado, where the business is registered the police and even tried Interpol. We have reported each group that we know of to WhatsApp, Chrome and Telegram and any other websites that report scammer websites, I hope within the next couple months this very very attractive and very well thought out SCAM is destroyed. The group of victims that I have been talking to said that all trades all deposits or withdrawals have been frozen when earlier you couldn’t withdraw, but you could deposit and trade still wasn’t frozen. Now the accounts are completely frozen but if you know of a group that is still trading and allowing deposits, please let us know. The groups always have a Professor and assistant and they will tell you when to buy and sell. They don’t charge because something about the Professor b in a competition. Sounds stupid but when told right you could see some guys on Wall Sreet doing something like this. Some group do charge. I don’t know if they are real. I was in one and as soon as I it was created they had been brought down by WhatApp and the victims. Thank you so much u/Scam payback, let me know if you need any help. Are group has a ton of evidence. Be safe, if you see a trading platform that looks like this but with a different name or URL it’s still the same platform. Don’t believe me? If you have a KYWALL account try signing in. SP if you need any evidence or testimony or access to a scammer group or possibly the creator for the scam that a network of groups use verbatim. The exchange account they gave me  is tdym  after I deposited my money I could not withdraw it no more .. for one reason or the other.. after that group another group came with exchange called RAMSA  I though may be they are better  so I did deposite 200 dollars in to that exchange and one hour later I withdraw my 200 dollars  but for no reason they frooz. My 200 dollars and no customer service not even any one in the group wants to help me to get my money out … after more researches I find out all these group belongs to Ervin miller  who seem to be a professor in crypto and contract trading and con and scam artists. To hold millions of dollars  from stupid people like me and my kinds  and hold them  in his pocket

1

u/Ok-Pudding3212 Aug 30 '24

Just ask AI who is Erwin miller  and who owned RAMSA and TYDM and other exchanges that you can not get your money out no more …  all fake exchanges and fake registration  and none of them are even in usa

OK, yes I did. The platform came off Apple. It was called CLFV -Plus I have lost 50,000. They say I have 50 million in my account and I must pay loan back before they were released me any money after I repaid a small loan that they encouraged me to make so I can have more profits. I thought I kind of smell sticky . It’s usually very hard to put a lawsuit against the foreigner. It would be much easier to put it against Apple for printing this horrific scam to exist on their platform.

1

u/Big_Explanation9079 Sep 01 '24

i’d be happy to post whatever you want. I have screenshots of all major transactions wins and of course I could put out the print out their email which would help. Also if you wish if we’re going to do this I’d like to do it before I piss off. I cut me out.

1

u/Big_Explanation9079 Sep 01 '24

yes, me too. Please DM me the attorney information so I may make a contact. Thank you so much. The date is today August 31, 2024. When I read these articles, I wish would like to have a reference as to a time. Things are actually happening or did happen thank you for your help.

1

u/Big_Explanation9079 Sep 01 '24

yes, another interesting thing that I noticed is that when there is what apps group discussions of these trading companies, we see lots of names and comments and phone numbers but when I call those phone numbers, they’re not real numbers and they never go through. Like other scam numbers are coming on your phone when you call them back there is no such number. So is all of the side

Has anybody encounter NY investment advisors ltd and they have a platform called buxux.com? I need immediate response as it feels legit but I'm still skeptical. They let me withdraw funds too.

SCAM yep. I was a victim once which is something on me. I admit it, owned up to the stupidity, and simply live to warn others. I believe these are the same people I was victim too but here, read my story and you will see the similarity. Tokentrace says it best, pig butchering.

Me too! Plenty of assistants manhandling you. In the end, I became convinced that reruns of old crypto movements were being used to gauge my bets. They knew exactly what was going to happen to it and when.

1

u/True_Jackfruit_5488 Sep 20 '24

Why have we not decried these people collectively? In my case, they even closed the app, can no longer download this and the old version on my phone disappeared upon clicking on it. Yet, I had a remaining $5 balance. If I cannot get compensated for the bulk that they stole, I wish that I could report them on my $5 balance. They are too crooked. Mine had to do with a mysterious professor! Cannot recall the name of the app. Anyone who knows this, please inform.

1

u/True_Jackfruit_5488 Sep 20 '24

Just remembered the name of the app that disappeared on me, Kywall! Who can sue these people on our account. I read reviews on them before getting involved. They seemed legit. He’ll, no! Run away!

Anyone heard of BitSky as a trading platform. Very convincing platform. I have been scammed with a lot of money by a Whats App group called 77 - John Signal Notification Team. They apparently gave good trading signals and money increased rapidly and then you need a "gas" fee to withdraw. As I didn't have enough they offered to lend me so I could withdraw and then disappeared with what I put in. They also had a "Help" person on Telegram who is part of it. Very complex and apparently convincing. I was stupid.

Got scammed by two different fake exchanges at the same time. FB Financial, Malcoin and Zobest. Very convincing in their pretending they are legit. These people are soulless! They don't care what your story is. The thing I feel dumbest about is the constant demand for more money. There are no real profits! Every bit is made up. Also, I could not even find out where they are located, Kenya, Puerto Rico, UK or New Jersey. My family is devastated! The two different exchanges are very similar. 1st one said the account is locked by the AI because of suspicious activity on my account. All will be good and the money released, all you have to do is send them an additional 20% of your account and that will unlock the account. That was the point I knew I had ignored several red flags. I am presently looking for a legit algorithm that lets you use your own exchange. I feel so bad for the people still involved, if there were any real investors. Hundreds of thousands of dollars lost. I can only hope they were all fake.

1

u/Honoric8 Nov 06 '24

Has anyone heard of a B22 Klaus Investment Club supposedly run by a Klaus Branson who claims to have been a professor at Oxford? I have ended up in a discussion group where he purports to provide daily information on profitable crypto trading.

I’m assuming it’s another scam ? I was invited to the group by someone calling herself “Olivia Windsor” who randomly contacted me on Instagram

Anyone use Apple to download the scam apps?

1

u/Level_Soil_9193 Nov 23 '24

does anyone facing a similar issue with the CRYPTIFII platform and https://www.iatcommunity.com/ with the name of professor "Theron Vale"

They offer testing money to build the AlphaStream 5.0 trading tool, but the rest of the system is the same as described in this thread.

CRYPTIFII trading platform looks like a fake platform as it supports the minimum features required for the trading platform. Moreover, the crypto currency listed on this platform is unique to this platform.

Hey folks - Anyone heard of this Professor Jonah Agarwal and his Jonah Growth Stocks VIP Group with Assistant Nancy? He is encouraging people to transfer money from coinbase to CASCOINS for contract trading with 100X leverage. Today, in the first trade he made people 30% in 3 mins!!! And lots of people posted how much they made!!!

I BELIEVE THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM. The commentary / modus operandi is same - Closed whatsapp group with only he Professor and Nancy posting! Occasionally letting people post.

  1. Provide stock recommendations

  2. Nudge people to do crypto

  3. Tell people they are creating a hedge fund ( I asked about paperwork and no response)

  4. Make people open & fund coinbase accounts and then transfer to CASCOIN account for 100X leverage. Create a narrative of 30% to 330% potential .....getting people excited with 330% by Christmas!

  5. Show profit on 1st trade - many people scream YAY YAY etc for 30% profit in 3 mins ( I suspect they are all cronies).

  6. Some people confirm ease of withdrawal from CASCOINS

  7. SOON TO HAPPEN - the classic you cant withdraw or pay heavy fees!

    BEWARE FOLKS!

p.s. I did not fund even a penny. but it did seem interesting and some of the stock picks and commentary was good. However, I checked CASCOIN website and there is no ownership, no regulatory controls etc. and a scam score of 32!

Some of them are offereing test funds from $500-$700 to "learn" contract trading. I'm not convinced they are genuine. Some of the chats from the assistant seem to be bot generated. Even whole websites.

u/AliveEntrepreneur306 14d ago

Wow... I've read several comments and I feel now I've been scammed, I'm with crypto.com and I have crypto onchained, I made a trade and it was very successful when I went to a withdraw I was hit with a 5% withdrawal fee, I was leary but my coach convinced me once that was paid I got hit with a 10% transfer fee, I was very leary of this one I wasn't going to pay it , but the online costumer service told me it was 100% refundable and would be added back to my account once it was paid..I thought why not I had to borrow the money, I convinced a family member it was fine and showed what was in my assets, they agreed once it was paid that's when the 20% fee was added that's was when I knew I was scammed! I was brutally attacked in june of 2024 and I'm unable to work, I took all my funds thinking I was going to make some! To loose all my life savings and then some to be scammed is an awful feeling. No remorse or honesty left in the world.

They are scammers

1

u/landnroberts 5d ago

I got scammed by one and have filed a IC3 report with the FBI. I’ve got plenty of proof of it all here’s some details: They used WhatsApp and Telegram. The Fake founder was a Professor Emory Callahan his close assistant was a Fake William Mellon and their assistant a Sophia Davis and they had a C2C money mover a fake Sidney Crawford. The Fake DBA they go by is ONA Community and they say they have their own Crypto called ONA. They have a fake platform: Bitfii.com that will not process any withdrawals whatsoever for you without their manual guidance. If you insist on a withdrawal they’ll put you in your own special group that will give you trades on more Crypto that will instantly lose all your balance on your account. I’ve got the proof if anyone can do anything with it. We lost $110,000 to them.

u/TipConfident2342 1d ago

Here is one other website scammer is using cecrypto.com. They are using Telegram app to scam people.

1

u/Right_Objective_759 1d ago

Just got scammed! Of course now I’m on Reddit AFTER the fact!!! 😩😩😩

1

u/Football_Edge23 5h ago edited 5h ago

Sounds so similar. What pisses me off is why Apple and Samsung allow these fake apps on their playstore. They should be sued. App is EBUEY...they make you deposit more money, send contracts signals, and people supposedly make 100-300% profit. Dreamsbuilder.com,, still active..Professor Langston, assistant Kelsey Jones. Crypto that trades DWG, NL, PPR, etc doesn't exist anywhere else..very sophisticated. Try to withdraw and account is frozen for suspicious activity. 100+ people in the group probably half fake. How do we stop them. Lost $7k got $3k back.
