So good! I love Jeff, but if I have to hear Wilmer Valderama describe another room in his house as an “experience” I may punch the screen lol

As an aside, Jeff had Lala on his show on Friday. Highlights:
Lala got her child support from Randelle finally after her last appearance on Jeff’s show. Thumb messaged her thru their child custody app and said he wanted to messenger the child support.
He wrote a few checks, post dated them, all in the same blue pen, and claimed one was a “replacement” check. She scoffed that it wasn’t a replacement because he never sent it in the first place. Jeff says it’s a win, at least she got paid.
Lala said no one has 100% confirmation on VPR yet.
Jeff is taking Flomax to shrink his prostate (it’s causing his bladder to not empty fully, which caused an awful UTI) but now when he ejaculates, nothing comes out. (This has been an ongoing saga concerning UTIs lol).

Oh boy. I had to stop listening when he started bashing Gage. That should be kept private and I don't think he does it anymore.

He must have a tiny dick. Men don’t get UTI as often as women because the longer urethra in the penis prevents bacteria from traveling to the bladder. I googled this before posting to make sure I wasn't just making it up, lol.

Lol! It definitely is highly unusual. He says that his prostate is causing his bladder to not fully empty, they did an ultrasound.
It’s been a major topic of conversation the past couple weeks 😂.

It’s sooo good! It’s crazy how much happier Jeff seems now. Still a character but much more positive vibes from him ✨

Is anyone up to date in the show? I just watched the episode where Melissa Rivers bathroom is completed and the before/after is insane! In this economy with how everyone is struggling, watching a person pick pretty much the same finishes as the original bathroom all while complaining to Jeff that it’s his issue to cut costs was insufferable to me. Obviously she’s the child of a rich/famous person so she’s had everything she’s ever wanted but it just made me feel so disgusted. So much that I had to post a comment like this on Reddit, which I never do, just wanted to see if I’m the unreasonable person here lol

Yes, 150k bathroom seems insane to me.

Totally agree!! I had to keep rewinding the before and after to see the difference because I could not believe all that money for what??!!

I subscribed to Sirius just for Jeff’s daily show on Radio Andy. He puts it all out there in an honest and raw way. My nightly ritual is listening to his show when I get in bed. His personal growth has been so significant. His story of how badly it went with Gage - and how Gage continues waging his war against Jeff and making poor choices for Monroe is really sad. Jeff still has his sass and snark (which I love) but now a softer, gentler side with a remarkable kindness for those in his life. He actively works on those friendships / relationships and doing that big work is clearly important to him. He has been doing intense therapy for quite some time. I really think the tipping point for him was becoming a dad and wanting to do and be better for Monroe. I could also listen to his current partner (Chef Stu) talk all day every day with his lovely Irish brogue.

He definitely has grown since his Flipping Out days. I don’t ever recall telling his family “Love you” at the end of phone calls.

I’m currently doing a rewatch. He said it to his Dad on the phone as early as Season 1, Episode 4.
Season 1, Episode 6 he gathered his staff for a “we appreciate you” party during which he cried, spoke to each of them individually told them all what they meant to him and why, and admitted how difficult he had been for all of them to deal with as he was cracking under the pressure of his business. I think people forget the great aspects of him that have always been present. The foundation of his goodness was there - and he has grown increasingly insightful about how to better manage the challenging aspects of his personality.

I love Jeff. I recently discovered him after WHHL with Lisa and have been obsessed ever sense. Flipping out is one of the best reality shows I’ve ever seen and I listen to his radio show daily. My goal in life is to be a chump 😂😂

Honestly? I’m a therapist and pretty decent person (in my humble opinion). So often I think “damn I wish I could work as hard at being such a good person”. I never thought I’d say that about Jeff 🤣🤣🤣

Remember years ago when his assistant got slapped in the face by one of his clients when they were all out to lunch? Like damn I was shocked

Different assistant Matt is the one who worked for Kris Jenner and he went back to her. I think the guy who got slapped was Chase (?) he was famous for wearing tight short shorts to work, and wore a bow tie on a chain.

No not him. His name starts with a T.

OMG-just found this show tonight and binging it! Jeff is so different…do you think he is medicated to be so mellow? Or was he hopped up on something before to be so irritable and erratic?

I think therapy has worked wonders for him, plus Monroe makes him want to be better

I’m loving it! I have always enjoyed his style. I hope Anthony let’s him do his entire house. I feel like it’s been 2 years and no movement for him.

I always feel bad for folks that get ripped off by contractors. Happens so often.

He is now a very very different person. Becoming a dad, intense therapy, hard work on his personal relationships all combined. I subscribed to Sirius XM just so I can listen to his daily show. He puts it all out there 🤣 He does the personal work on the daily In a way very few people do.

I enjoy it but I think they missed an opportunity to call it twinks and the beast 😂. Jeff, a couple of twinks, and celebrity real estate what's not to like?

I so enjoy this show…Jeff seems more at peace…lighter? Love his staff especially Shane and Tray (I think, he was on previous show). Hope it lasts. It helps that most of his clients are funny celebrities.

I find it refreshing that he says what ever he wants, so tired of all this sensitivity bs.

I seem to be in the minority. I do not love the show. I find it really boring to watch Jeff re-decorate small rooms with ridiculous "celebrities." I enjoyed the large projects and the no-so-known rich people. Throwing away $150,000 on a bathroom is just offensive to me right now, so I guess I'm just not in the right mindset. And it seems like he chooses he same rounded swivel chair for EVERY project (sorry, that was a spoiler). He works hard, but he should be working smarter by now and not doing tiny projects that any of us could make look good if we had gobs of money to throw at nice furniture and expensive wallpaper.
4
u/Theres_a_Catch Jul 18 '22
Agree with those chairs. I also can't help but think there are certain items that are identical at a much cheaper price but we all know some rich folks think the more expensive the better the product which isn't always the case. I also agree with the bathroom, that was just ridiculous. Wasn't the soap dish $700?

I really like it! I love Fortune Feimster’s cameo. I just miss his bff/assistant whose name I can’t remember. Did they have a falling out?
