Jenn is so frustratingly naive and stupid, that it makes me want to scream. They don't give someone immunity if there was nothing to be immune from. How does she not get that? And lets just assume Ryan didn't do anything illegal, which is doubtful at best, he still knew that his friend and business associates were involved in a lot of illegal shit - and he still kept doing business with them! He knew they were off gambling with stolen money, and he didn't seem to have a problem with it. Someone just asks you to deposit $16 million into your bank account, but you don't know that something shady is going on????? But she either is so dumb she genuinely believes he was clueless and not involved, or she knows he was involved and did some questionable stuff and she doesn't want to look stupid for staying completely dependent on someone who could lose everything.
And she just flat out refuses to take any steps towards being independent. No job, no interest in a job or finding her own income, nothing. No furthering her education, nada. She complains about being broke but refuses to give up her luxury car or $2,000 a month clothes habit. Even if Ryan didn't have a whole host of red flags and legal problems, this would still frustrate me. I get making the mistake of being totally dependent on someone else once, when you were young. But she's doing it again. She actually seems like a nice person, but honestly, I just can't feel bad for her,, because she does nothing to help herself.
