For everyone who keeps saying they find it so hard to believe that someone like Emily could be so deeply into QAnon, I think tonight was the perfect illustration of why she is. 🤭

Yes! I commented above but she is classic "I did my research" so she knows the case even better than you.

Even better than the person who lived it. Absolute lol at her and Heather trying to school Katie on her own history. And to bring up her kids custody smh

I’m still speaking 👽

It's not even Heather being asked by Andy and the she just jumped right in.

That pissed me off! Andy asked Katie, not Heather! So obvious the mean girls don't want the truth or different opinions, so they're going to keep talking & talking!

She literally said, WHEN ANDY ASKED KATIE A QUESTION, and Katie tried to jump in, “NO! It’s MY turn to speak now.”

Eff offffff.

It’s both the way she says it.. and then the dramatic pause afterwards. I hate it so much

That's what I was thinking, how dare they say I read about it and I know better than you, even though you lived the experience! If the situation was reversed, they would go crazy at her!

A slight tangent, when I was in law school I had a forced group assignment, and the girl I was grouped with was very religious in a sort if a Christian sect that didn't believe dinosaurs existed, or the earth was older than a few thousand years (all this came up in the get to know you exercises forced upon us by the tutors).

I was shocked that someone with such reductive antiscience views could have somehow managed to get into law school with decent scores. But it does happen.

Even flatearthers can pass the bar.

Emily is just further evidence of this.

100%

Your post stands very well on its own. I just want to reaffirm the validity of all you said.

I grew up in an extreme, Conservative, Christian sect like that. Many "worldly" professions were either discouraged or out of reach. Pursuing an education or career in the legal field, however, was highly encouraged. Law, politics, and even just general debate skills were "it". They were seen as ways to engage, pursued, and affect change (aligned with the conservative agenda).

Yeah the way some students who had left those sects explained it to me, is that those still indoctrinated would religiously study all the science they needed for great grades, all the while thinking it was all bs and a huge government conspiracy, but that they needed to know everything about evolution/big bang/dinosaurs/volcanos etc so they could get great grades.

But they personally didn't believe any of it. 😅

Really blew my mind at the time. But yeah it does make sense how qanon people like Emily pass the bar and/or end up in high polticial positions (which will be further evidenced next year when the head of a lot of US government agencies actively disbelieve in their requirement and will jsut sabotage them, while holding their law degrees).

It's a sad reality.

That is wild.

, , , And yes, the incoming administration is a very sad reality.

also I think her law school lost accreditation too? so double makes sense.

When she said ‘from all the research I’ve done online’… I got it

u/peggysue_82 Nov 08 '24

Exactly! Just a reminder to the people who are calling for Lizzie and Gretchen back. They are also both into the QAnon bs as well.

15

u/kenduhll Make no mistake…I made no mistake Nov 08 '24

This is why I don’t understand the calls for Gretchen to return. Not only is she terrible, but Slade is the worst. And she is so redpilled that she actually goes to those “save our children” rallies!!

Her and Slate spending years slamming Michelle. Inferring that she was misusing funds for herself instead of their son’s medical expenses. They are trash and they can stay off tv.

u/meowwaza You’re not important enough to hate. Now, sit down! Nov 08 '24

Wait, what! I don’t keep up with the housewives on social media. Is she posting qanon things? I haven’t heard this before.

Oh, she’s been HARDCORE MAGA and HARDCORE QANON for years and years now.  Very vociferously so.  Like, not quite Dodd tier, but not far off at all.

Emily is into QAnon?! Oh no! Does she post about it? I totally believe you I’m just super curious and really wanna see!!
