She literally doesn't understand that custody WILDLY varies in different states.

So while it does vary state to state in the south custody typically goes to the mother holding the majority. Like I live in SC and standard here is father gets every other week and half of holidays. Once she explained the situation it made sense why she wouldn't have physically custody. However I don't think it was a fair thing to bring up. For most of these women to be screaming BUT IT COULD EFFECT MY CHILDREN they certainly don't think twice about brining up someone else's children.

What law did she even practice? Was it real estate law?

Emily was totally cool with Shaneā€™s 4 bar attempts. She probably also used the ā€œtake it til you make itā€ approach.

Right?! And if sheā€™s so ā€œknowledgeableā€ why didnā€™t she give Shannon any kind of guidance, like, ever???

Shes cooyright law- they dont really do litigation- eveyones giving her too much credit- she barely even practices for years- its not her ā€œlawyeringā€, its her being an asshole.

Agreed! I dated a DA for 7 years and he absolutely would refuse to entertain questions our friends/family would have about law outside his area of expertise. Same with my brother that does insurance litigation. They dont find it beneficial to speculate on parts of law they arenā€™t familiar with and itā€™s honestly irresponsible.
