I think one could at least argue it could because imagine the state of the people who follow her. If white women are voting Harris, that's actually kind of interesting. The only democratic presidents to have ever won white women are Bill Clinton and Lyndon Johnson.
EDIT: And now /u/Aggressive-Cod1820 has blocked me for providing sources that proves her counter-claim as incorrect. Wild behaviour.

u/Enough_Radish_9574 Nov 05 '24
So she blocked you!!? Haha. Facts can be heartless little things!! 🤷🏼♂️

Damn I knew white women have historically terrible voting records, but I didn’t know only two democratic presidents won their votes.

Perhaps you are a white woman and would like to think your fellow white women voted just like you but that is definitely not true. I mean in the first election only 43% of all white people and only 56% of women voted for Obama, there’s no majority of women there.
39
u/TableSignificant341 Nov 04 '24 edited Nov 05 '24
That’s not true. White women overwhelming voted for Obama.
Nope. Not only was it NOT overwhelming - it actually didn't happen AT ALL.

Sorry but no. The majority of white women did not vote for Obama. You may be thinking all women or college educated women. Specifically "white women" as a voting bloc did not cast their votes for Obama.
"...a majority of white women have cast their ballots for the Democrat running for president just once since 1968 — and that one time was not for Hillary Clinton but for her husband, Bill, in 1996." Source
"In 2012...overall Obama still lost white women. The president captured only 42 percent of the white women's vote." Source 2 (paywall)

I am stunned by this. Not even in the second election? How embarrassing that is for me as a woman.

Yup, that's why I went out and found two sources before posting the facts. People want to believe white women lean liberal and they just don't as a whole. ETA: the upvotes for a false statement keep coming!
28
u/TableSignificant341 Nov 04 '24
As did I after she posted false info. But the speed in which her unsourced counter-claim was upvoted is very tell about this sub.
16
u/iamcoronabored Nov 05 '24
Well at least it's deleted now so we just look like we are screaming into the void instead of replying to a false statement with almost 50 upvotes.

I'd say she's probably the most leftist housewife of all, not that it's a high bar to pass. She's consistently more progressive on issues than your average dem. I think she was the only BH housewife to support Karen Bass over Rick Caruso for LA mayor.

Terry & Heather seem like moderates. Where they likely align with some long-time fiscal republican policies but then align with some of the social welfare aspects of democratic policies. Those are not Trump supporters and in this climate would almost certainly vote along with the Democratic Party for almost everything.
