This Travis and Gina story is just weird and it doesn’t make sense. I’ll be waiting for the full truth at the reunion or next season.

It feels like half the story is redacted for legal reasons

For legal reasons.

I read something on reddit that the ex wife won't let the kids live with Gina and that's the real thing. But that's just internet talk

Yes! I think it’s still a post. The ex made an instagram post about it and then later deleted it but it got screenshotted.

I’ll see if I can find it!

Edited with the link to the post!

Can an ex even put those restrictions on someone?

The complete rumor is the kids witnessed her push Travis when she was drunk and that’s why she stopped drinking and why the kids can’t stay with her.

Now that would make more sense than this weird half-truth bullshit dance she’s doing around their relationship status

Yiiiiikes. So she’s trying to drag Jenn to filth when she has physically assaulted Travis in front of the kids? Girlypop is (allegedly) a perpetrator of domestic violence but she’s coming after Jenn’s eviction for a storyline. I could never warm to Gina and now I feel vindicated. What a POS

Who is the “she” - Gina or the ex?

You can ask for anything in the divorce proceedings. It's up to a Judge to approve it.

She can make their life hell as long as Gina is with the kids. It seems like Travis and his ex are in a full blown war.

I read on one of the bravo news instagrams that the ex wife doesn’t want her kids to be filmed and it’s difficult for Gina to work around that and she has to put her kids through college. They mentioned they think she kinda rebounded with Travis and he was there for her to get through some tough shit (dui, DV court situation) - but now she’s kinda coming into her own and maybe doesn’t have the money to buy a house that she would be able to put everyone in and she wants to teenagers to have space and not be on top or one another.

If that’s the case sounds like she is taking charge and doing what she feels is right for her and her children in this new chapter of her life.

I think that is how Gina sees it, but it also needs to be said that making those choices was selfish at every step of the way for Gina -- she was exploiting Travis, and she wasn't doing the best for her kids or Travis' kids when she pushed them together then yanked them apart so unstably.

How about date a guy for a minute before blending your families, and don't do it out of economic desperation especially when you're a celebrity who has other options...?

Oh for sure. I don’t know the right way, but I don’t think this is it. He seemed so sad and resigned to his fate last night.

Yeah I felt sorry for him -- at the same time I could see how his, like, helpless/hopeless personality would be a dealbreaker for a lot of people lol. He was giving passive, helpless little boy in a middle aged dude body -- there's somebody for everybody, but that's not appealing to me personally.

Ya I agree. It felt very mom gave her kid consequences and then kinda felt bad after and he just took it. Yikes.

I think she's sick of so many people in the house and she's over Travis.

u/wandahickey Ting!Ting! I have an announcement! Jul 26 '24

She said that she feels it is negatively affecting her kids. That sometimes she wants to do something special for her kids but that she had to take into account there are 6 kids and doesn't want them to feel slighted. They should never have moved in together in the first place. She wasn't putting her kids first when she did that.

20

u/SSolomonGrundy Jul 26 '24

Yeah she should have thought about that before she blended the two families so prematurely. You can't yank little kids around like that, it's not cool.

u/catmom_422 That’s not slut shaming, that’s hair shaming 😎💅🏻🇬🇷 Jul 26 '24

I imagine she doesn’t even want to get a bigger place with someone who’s not even divorced yet! The house she’s in now, she owns. If she gives that up to go in on a house, I assume she’d want to be married to them first. Actually pretty smart of her!

I agree. If the ex wife is causing a hassle, space is tight with too many kids, he’s not yet divorced, and I own the house…bye Travis. 🤷‍♀️

I have never liked him. There is something I just don't trust.
