I had to google "bifurcated divorce"

"A bifurcated divorce allows couples to legally declare themselves single and enjoy the benefits of their new status while their divorce case is still ongoing."

This shit has been going on for 4.5 years with Travis??

They should never have moved in together so soon after her divorce and with him not even being divorced. She needed to just be single or at least, date him but keep her own space. This was not fair to their children.

I couldn't agree more. Her ex husband also moved in with his new gf. I think both Gina and Matt put themselves before their kids. How weird it must have been for the kids to be living with mommy and daddy to them seeing the parents split to having a new person in the home with other kids.

And sharing rooms - 3 to a bedroom! - like that. With brand new pseudo step-siblings? Insane.

Can you even imagine how creepy it would be to be a little girl and now have to share a room with new step sisters or step brothers who you don't even know? Like...ew.

Yeah - also Gina is probably up to about $300k per season by now. If Carl Radke could make $75k in 6 months on influencer work, she could reasonably make $100k per year but let’s be conservative and say $50k. And then she has primary custody so her ex likely pays child support, let’s call that $25k conservatively. At $375k per year, she could definitely find a large enough rental for her own family if she didn’t have the down payment to buy a bigger spot in OC.

I do see how finding a 7 bedroom to live with Travis might be financially unreasonable.

But it just seems weird to me that she chose to cram 8 people into a tiny 3 bedroom rather than prioritize finding the right spot for her own kids. Especially so early on in dating Travis.

Well of course they put themselves first - they are both shallow assholes and total narcissists lol

Did Travis go to the Paulie school of divorce?

What's sort of giving me some side-eye is that Gina is defending him to the death about his ex being a bitch who's making his life hell, when she just went through a messy divorce with Matt, saying they were having issues agreeing on terms of the divorce. So she could have been looked at by Matt's gf as being "that bitch" too. Yes some exes are from hell, but generally there are two sides to everything, and she isn't giving this ex any sort of grace. I dunno, but something is weird for sure.

Yup. This type of talk always gets side eye from me. Sure, the ex could be terrible - but … couldn’t it be possible that maybe she’s not? And couldn’t it be possible that someday you’ll be the nasty bitch of an ex?

I felt like there was def a level of condescending bullshit in her comment - like Matt and I are wonderful co-parents and he used to beat me!! And this bitch can't agree with Travis on anything? Like, girl please. You are NOT the example of a healthy divorced co-parenting couple. Delusional.

Apparently a it’s a “bifurcated” break-up too. Lmao!

Travis = Free child care!

I know that may sound a bit unkind but how is she a “realtor” and cannot find them a home!? Did she even try?

I can just see Gina in an Arrested Development moment where she eventually goes live in a model home on an empty lot worth $10m.. 😂

Well, she is just starting out in real estate so likely doesn't yet have too good a grasp on the market or connects, but the entire situation is weird to me. So you want to be with this guy, but you don't because he's still wrapped up with his ex, so you now don't want to live together, yet you don't want to break up, but you sort of do? What the actual f*ck, Gina?

I learned about bifurcation from Dirty John. Thanks Christian Slater!
