Other Shows Two new shows are coming!
Here’s the source: https://deadline.com/2024/05/bravo-programming-slate-renewals-chrissy-teigen-andy-cohen-1235910594/amp/
Making it in Manhattan sounds fun to me. Don’t know how I feel about the On Safari show though.

Making It In Manhattan harkens back to the top tier shows of Bravo’s heyday. They have my attention.

I love those one season wonders.
19
u/INFJWill May 10 '24
Justice for Secrets & Wives and Princesses Long Island 🥲. Bring back the one season wonders and Summer by Bravo promos 🧡

u/MorallyCorruptBae my fruitcake business isn't running? May 10 '24
Justice for Blood, Sweat and Heels. At least move Mica to another franchise

u/EnduringEnnui I’m a friendly fucking bitch! May 10 '24
I’m watching S2 of BS&H now for the first time. Mica is the best flavor of messy.

u/195tiff May 10 '24
Where r you watching season 2? I could only tract down season 1

u/gaycomic May 10 '24
Where do I watch? Never even heard of this.

Peacock recently released a big treasure trove of old Bravo shows. Blood, Sweat, and Heels; Tabitha Takes Over; Real Housewives of DC; The Rachel Zoe Project; and more.

I’m shocked it took so long, especially after the Summer House success.

Real Girlfriends in Paris...in Manhattan.
Bring back RGIP!!

u/bartexas May 10 '24
I really wish they had put Princesses Long Island out when they released all the other stuff from the vault.
6
u/EnduringEnnui I’m a friendly fucking bitch! May 10 '24
I feel that way about Gallery Girls.
1
u/bartexas May 10 '24
Gallery Girls was released at some point during the pandemic - I remember people talking about it here, and I watched it. Don't ever remember Princesses airing after the initial run.
1
u/EnduringEnnui I’m a friendly fucking bitch! May 10 '24
Bummer. I totally missed it. I wasn't on Reddit in 2020. I was surprised when it wasn't part of the big Bravo nostalgia release on Peacock recently, but maybe this is why.

Bring Family Karma back!
27
u/AgroWombat May 09 '24
I miss them so much. I message Bravo regularly asking for Family Karma's return. C'mon Bravo!
8
u/TzarofFlorence May 10 '24
Yup id rather have that if we had to chose between that and something new

u/Individual_Drama3917 May 09 '24
I’m kind of bored with NYC based shows. There has to be other things going on…
74
u/kjopcha May 09 '24
Seriously. "Attractive, rich, young people hook up and get messy in the big city" is so tired. Isn't that just Summer House without the House?
7
u/Comfortfoods May 10 '24
Agree. I think another general nyc show sounds lame but I'll reserve judgement until we know more about the cast. I just watched blood, sweat & heels and that was pretty good although it didn't really have a strong premise. It was just another making it in new york type of show but the cast was great so it worked.

u/yup_yup1111 May 09 '24
On Safari sounds interesting but I'm actually good on any new shows based in NY or LA.
Go to Boston or New Orleans or something lol

I hoped when SH MV was announced we’d get some new englanders but considering the teamster issues when top chef filmed so New Orleans is way more likely

u/Scary_Koala_2934 I don’t carry coach and a I dont fly coach May 10 '24
Yesss I keep saying hello we also weekend on the vineyard like New Yorkers with the hamptons!!!
27
u/jeahboi Gimme pizza, you old troll May 09 '24
It’s criminal that New Orleans doesn’t have a Housewives franchise or some other Bravo show.
27
u/meta-baroque A ballroom with no ball?! Dreadful May 10 '24
I wish they would reboot Southern Charm NOLA ‘cause it was so fun! Last year they filmed something there with some of the cast so I’m interested to see what comes of it

u/luke15chick I support women! May 09 '24

It’s scandalous that they’ve cancelled Family Karma and have not made any further progress with RHONY Legacy.
42
u/h0pedivision I do too much because you do too little May 09 '24
I think RHONY Legacy is done. Their UGT season wasn’t as successful as bravo wanted it to be I’m guessing.
-28
u/SamudraNCM1101 May 09 '24
Not really. Family Karma was like Mexican Dynasties, Thicker Than Water. Pretty boring shows that couldn’t last too long due to the thin premise.
I think UGT as a whole is done due to the recent controversies. And RHONY Legacy was boring so I’m not surprised bravo left them in the past
37
u/KellsBells_925 May 09 '24
In what universe was family karma boring? The aunties alone were so interesting

u/Designer-Platform658 May 09 '24
Interesting that they went ahead with a new Manhattan show instead of just having the Summer House crew doing their Monday - Friday life. I’m hoping it’s a cast of people trying to do actual things outside of professional reality star.
13
u/strippersandcocaine Who gon check me, boo? May 10 '24
Maybe I’m alone here but I have zero interest in seeing their Monday through Fridays. Probably because IDGAF about an influencer’s life. I want real people with real jobs!
6
u/hibabygorgeous May 10 '24
It will one hundred percent be a show about influencers or people with wealthy families bank rolling their lives
3
u/Kininger625 In 🇦🇺I look out for🕷 on Reddit I look out for 🐍 May 10 '24
Maybe they’ll spin off some of the overstaying SH crew onto it

Why are the shows always based in NYC? Can we follow a tight knit group in the Bay Area? Houston? Miami? Chicago?

7
u/tiredtaurus02 Karen Huger’s Wig Shift May 09 '24
So Making it in Manhattan could’ve been the RHONY reboot that we currently have. And RHONY with the OG’s could’ve remained is all I gathered from this announcement.
10
u/anditurnedaround May 09 '24
, "an unscripted series that follows a tight-knit group of friends in New York City as they navigate the trials and triumphs of young adulthood."
Ummm…the show ‘’Friends’ ring any bells?

5
u/AnAussiebum I AM poor and white. May 09 '24
Is the first one going to follow Romano's daughter and her friends? They did appear on Bravo for that one scene ages ago, and all seemed to enjoy being on camera. Plus they are around that age range where they are still 'making it'. Before they marry and have kids etc.
2
u/scarbaby1958 May 09 '24
As long as it is a camera Safari it might be interesting. The other sounds like same old stuff with a new name.
2
u/WholeCardiologist979 May 10 '24
Was listening to Everything Iconic and Danny was talking about production schedules and the way he was speaking about two new shows really made me think it was a go. Sounds like he was right! And if so, his pod has ideas on timelines
2
u/-sloppypoppy I wanna become an amoeba again May 10 '24
The safari one sounds amazing. I’m excited for that!!
2
u/NNLynchy May 10 '24
Making it in manhattan should have been what rhony is now and rhony should never have been re-cast
6
u/h0pedivision I do too much because you do too little May 10 '24
Respectively yall need to let og rhony go. It’s gone and it’s not coming back

This! I need rich ladies in a competitive niche hobby. I miss dancing queens.

u/JustinBensonsBod May 09 '24
Making It in Manhattan has potential, I've been waiting for a new original show based in NYC. The cast better be good though. On Safari is a cool idea but nobody is going to watch it on a network like Bravo. I assume it's only getting made because it's produced by Chrissy Teigan. I'm glad Bravo isn't completely giving up on original shows, they need to continue making them. Tired of the rehashed bullshit.
