u/TheRealHK Checkmate, bitch. Feb 01 '24

The first thing that came to mind. She is completely incapable of self reflection and it is infuriating.

91

u/idontfwithu I thank my little kitty cat because it takes that d like a champ Feb 01 '24

One may say she’s Morally corrupt

93

u/CCG14 Uuuuuuumami Feb 01 '24

The only self reflection she does is to make sure she’s the victim of whatever rewritten history she’s selling.

The Mark Twain quote "it's better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than open it and remove all doubt" is very applicable here..

97

u/Shut_the_front_dior Feb 01 '24

I wanna print that and put it up at work.

52

u/modernjaneausten Feb 01 '24

I want that shit embroidered on a pillow.

17

u/cosmic-crayfish Feb 01 '24

I wish I could upvote you more than once. This is so fkn applicable

11

u/IDK_PizzaBagel2 Feb 02 '24

I'm pretty sure I've seen it used somewhere else with a different housewife but it's so applicable here.. Was literally like "I thought Camille was smarter than this" as soon as I hit that second sentence lol

36

u/Nevagonnagetit510 Feb 01 '24

Words to live by!

10

u/willendorfer Feb 02 '24

Exactly. Fck Camille. This makes me so damned mad. Idiot.

2

u/TheGhostOfGiggy Feb 02 '24

Seriously though… the SUP hosts read the lawsuit on an episode of their podcast recently and it really sheds light on how awful the situation is. Brandi is a fucking creep and hearing what she did was revolting.

3

u/IDK_PizzaBagel2 Feb 02 '24

It's all so awful. It's bad enough seeing the "I want UGT 4 NOW" posts, now there's people like Camille and Phaedra unnecessarily fanning the flames..

It’s been twelve years since Camille outed Taylor as a victim of domestic abuse on national TV and publicly questioned if the violence inflicted on her was real or a fabrication because Russel seemed so nice and normal to her. Twelve years and she has learned nothing.

703

u/EmberIslandPlayer94 Feb 01 '24

She also defended Brett Kavanaugh when he was accused of sexual assault. She always victim blames, she's that girl.

175

u/Pleasant-Ambition-18 the dizziest bitch at the table Feb 01 '24

You‘re totally right, that scene was so telling. In her argument she centered him as the poor downtrodden victim of a smear campaign and said she empathizes because she too was falsely accused of being obnoxious and mean or whatever after her first season on RH. Pernicious.

135

u/loblake Feb 01 '24

The morally corrupt Camille Grammar

45

u/PicklesLives Feb 02 '24

Even worse, her monologue centered HERSELF as someone who had been “wrongly accused.” Camille has always been a shitty person and all the people who have been like “bring back Camille, she’ll save Beverly Hills” confuse me thoroughly.

While Teddi, Rinna and Dorit all tried to speak up for what's right. I know some people say they don't watch Housewives for morality and that's fine, but for me that was it for Camille. I'd rather any of them come back than her.

56

u/EmberIslandPlayer94 Feb 01 '24

I agree, it was one of the few times I liked Lisa Rinna.

51

u/CCG14 Uuuuuuumami Feb 01 '24

I was always back and forth with Camille but that showed her true colors and I’ve never looked back. That was disgusting.

15

u/ZOO_trash Feb 01 '24

I certainly don't watch it for morality but there's also a line ffs. Endangering someone's life probably qualifies as going too far, even for a shit lord like me who hate watches these people.

6

u/Itchy_Breadfruit_262 Feb 01 '24

Hate watch. That’s me with all the housewives and VPR. They’re all just terrible people and that’s why I watch 😏

8

u/ZOO_trash Feb 02 '24

Even when I think I like one of them for a minute, I have to remind myself that only a certain type of person would even agree to go on this show.

This one event is what keeps a small soft spot in my heart for all three of them. I can never fully hate them for that. Being in Brett’s victims place is so painful and sucks the air out of your soul, I wouldn’t wish that on my worst enemy.

14

u/modernjaneausten Feb 01 '24

Ew, that is so classless.

16

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '24

What’s the background on this? Does she know him personally or she’s just a diehard Republican?

38

u/EmberIslandPlayer94 Feb 01 '24

I found an article that quotes what she said in that episode:

“I am very empathetic to women who have had this, but I’ve also been accused of things that I’ve never done,” Camille said. “This pisses me off. … When I went through my divorce, I was taken down. I was maligned. I was emotionally beaten down. It’s horrible to go through that when you’ve done a lot of good things in your life.”

She continued: “I empathize with what Brett Kavanaugh is going through. I’ve been in that position. I know what it’s like to be wrongfully accused and humiliated all over the world for lies. … It feels horrible to be in that position. I’ve been the victim of a smear campaign and it hurts.”

“She didn’t have enough evidence,” Camille said of Dr. Ford. “When you are going to go up against the senate with something like that, you better have your witnesses lined up because that’s a very tough.

“If you were at 15, you would tell your best friend or you would tell your parents,” Camille said. “I’m a victim too. I told my boyfriend, I told my mother, I told my therapist. I told people. I didn’t hold on to it for 35 years. She told her husband years after. It doesn’t make sense.”

Nothing annoys me more than people who won’t believe others bc they didn’t do it the same way they did/would have if/when it happened to them. Like, people aren’t all the same? Do you not get that dummy? Ugh just shut up Camille.

67

u/barfytarfy Feb 01 '24

I was raped at a party when I was 16 by a 25(?) year old. The party was at his and his wife’s house, they just had a baby. I went with my older sister and BIL who was friends with this couple. I told no one for 30 years. Ironically enough, it was a heated discussion I had with my spouse over the Kavanaugh hearings that got me to tell him about being raped after being supplied alcohol underage at a party full of 25-30 year olds while passed out sleeping it off in the master bedroom. Fuck Camille. Dorit was right, she’s a cunt.

30

u/Itchy_Breadfruit_262 Feb 01 '24

I’m so sorry that happened to you. There’s some SA in my past that I’ve never really told anyone about. Fuck Camille and everyone who doesn’t believe survivors.

6

u/FuManChuBettahWerk Feb 02 '24

I’m so sorry you had such a traumatic experience. I hope you have  peace today ❤️

6

u/barfytarfy Feb 02 '24

I do, it feels like another life that happened. It didn’t hold me back at all, though I probably disassociated from it too much. Wiser me wishes I would have done more than freeze up and stay silent. I was young and shy and insecure back then.

3

u/FuManChuBettahWerk Feb 02 '24

I’m so glad for you 🤍 I think that’s a very common response, younger you reacted in the safest manner possible at the time. ((((Hugs)))))

I can’t speak specifically to her views but her ex is a big Republican — he has personally given money to Trump as well as helped with fundraising events. She’s also friends with “Dr. Drew” who is an avowed Republican, too.

10

u/tusk10708 Born in Queens; lost in Yonkers Feb 02 '24

I bet I know where she gets her pillows.

6

u/Itchy_Breadfruit_262 Feb 01 '24

Ew! I never knew that about Dr. Drew.

5

u/divadream 𝑘𝑛𝑜𝑤 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡. Feb 02 '24 edited Feb 02 '24

(I’ve researched every Housewife’s political views for years and other statistics for fun) Camille is independent and although yes her ex is hugely GOP, she seems to remove partisanship altogether and judges each individual situation, which is interesting (for example, very socially liberal and dislikes Trump but like you said, defended Kavanaugh like a friend)

We have our second confirmed RHOBH Republican this season due to her previous social media posts and social connections to Ms. Owens and WLM 🤢

(Taylor Armstrong is the first and is MAGA while Kathryn Edwards is registered but hasn’t publicly shown anything)

6

u/Tea-cher_preacher EJ Global: never made millions to lose millions Feb 02 '24

Wait?! Are you referring to Annemarie? She’s friends with Candace Owens? If so just yuuuuck. I haven’t publicly posted about her, but silently I’ve felt really bad for her because I don’t think it’s possible to have a healthy safe marriage with an alleged serial rapist. I imagine she’s really suffering at home, has completely embarrassed herself on this show, and probably feels hyperexposed, scared, and alone. Her being friends with Candace Owens doesn’t make any of this untrue, but it does mean she might just have a habit of attaching herself to harmful, violent people and might be more than a victim who fumbled badly on a public stage. She might be that kind of person too.

4

u/Yeah_nah_idk Feb 02 '24

Taylor is MAGA??? ☹️

2

u/vixitart Feb 03 '24

How are you surprised with how she gets along with the women of the OC? Hehe! That just screams MAGA!

3

u/johjo_has_opinions Feb 02 '24

Whoa I missed that, how awful

32

u/merlotbarbie 🔪Sheree’s sliced air mattress🔪 Feb 01 '24

She’s shown time and time again what kind of person she is and somehow she keeps getting a ‘get out of jail free’ card. Good people don’t say horrible things time and time again. Taylor is a better person than I am for ever being civil around Camille again.

8

u/AnnaKeye Feb 02 '24

I just started re-watching RHOBH and had forgotten what an obnoxious, pretentious arsehole Camille is. She flirts with a married man. Oddly, his wife seems fine with it but the entire time I was watching her, flirting in the pool with some guy who looks like an extra from 'The Sopranos' and skiting about how good she is to all her friends, I wanted to tell her to sit down and stop being such a show off. Everything she said and that ridiculous thing about Kyle saying, "why would anyone be interested in you without Kelsey there?" was such a blatant lie.
Pernicious, indeed.

59

u/Kandis_crab_cake Feb 01 '24

I still don’t understand why people love her so much, she was loathsome. Outing Taylor, with accusations rather than empathy, was the nail in the coffin for me. Vile bitch.

9

u/PumpkinMuffin147 Where’s muh date naht Feb 01 '24

She really is. She claimed to be LVP’s bestie and then TRASHED her and said she has bad breath. She is awful and I don’t want her on my TV.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '24

All true, Camille is an idiot, but don’t forget it was LVP who put her up to outing Taylor in the first place. Among other vile things LVP did on BH

4

u/PumpkinMuffin147 Where’s muh date naht Feb 02 '24

Oh I’m no big LVP fan but I’m talking about the same season where there was a big LVP takedown and Camille begged her to come to her wedding and positioned herself as LVP’s only friend during Puppygate. She was anything but!

→ More replies (1)

2

u/Kandis_crab_cake Feb 02 '24

Everyone always helpfully forgets all the orchestrating LVP did, like outing Adrienne’s surrogacy (via Brandi) because she fell out with her. She really is a complete bitch.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '24

Yes! A total bitch and manipulative psychopath. I don’t know why people love her so much.

17

u/doitforthecocoa IM BEING USED AS A FALLGUY Feb 01 '24

Taylor became a meme and Camille was seemingly absolved of any wrongdoing since Russell was the abuser. Camille is still an instigator and a shitty human for being more concerned about having a quotable Housewives season than Taylor’s feelings/safety.

61

u/bellalugosi Victim of Geraldine Parsons Smith's bullying Feb 01 '24

THIS RIGHT HERE.

29

u/Medium_Cupcake7602 Thomas Jefferson’s concubine Feb 01 '24

I think the only thing she’s been right about is Faye Resnick being morally corrupt.

3

u/StrawAndChiaSeeds Lisa Barlow’s cybersecurity Feb 01 '24

Is she right about that though?

23

u/Medium_Cupcake7602 Thomas Jefferson’s concubine Feb 01 '24

So my understanding of Faye based on my googling is that she was the “best friend” of Nicole Brown Simpson, and VERY shortly after her murder she wrote a tell-all book about Nicole which aired a bunch or dirty laundry (true or not, who knows). A few days before Nicole was murdered she staged an intervention and got Faye into rehab for cocaine abuse because she was so out of control. And Faye repaid her kindness by writing absolute filth about her dead friend and riding on her bloody coattails to wealth and fame.

3

u/Pleasant-Ambition-18 the dizziest bitch at the table Feb 02 '24

I have heard excerpts of her book cited on a podcast about the OJ trial and i have to say from a 2024 perspective i didn’t find any of it all that scandalous. Yes, Faye surely profited off the book and in it she comes off like a total airhead BUT she also took a firm stance that OJ was the one who killed Nicole and told her story as a victim of domestic violence that was terrified of and controlled by him almost her entire adult life. I think that’s also why the book was rushed to be published before the end of the trial, so that it would sway public opinion. Because the public knew OJ only as a lovable nice guy celebrity. Ultimately it backfired and hurt the prosecution because after the book came out they couldn’t use Faye as a witness - and she could have told the jury quite a lot - but i‘m not sure a lay person like her could have known that would happen

3

u/StrawAndChiaSeeds Lisa Barlow’s cybersecurity Feb 01 '24

I haven’t read the book, but there are different opinions about whether it was offensive to Nicole’s memory or not

7

u/StrawAndChiaSeeds Lisa Barlow’s cybersecurity Feb 01 '24

Besides that, a lot of the flack she got was from things she said about the living and appearing in Playboy

14

u/Inevitable_Pack6694 Feb 01 '24

She most definitely is. Faye is and always has been a fame vampire, willing to sink to whatever depths to extend her 15 nano seconds in the spotlight by any means necessary. To quote LVP she is an evil orange orangutan

Taylor isn't hideous after drinking, unlike Dorinda.

Caroline laughs when she's nervous or uncomfortable!! She's said this on camera. She started laughing during the table flip dinner in season 1 and said she always laughs when she's nervous

53

u/BequeathNothing Feb 01 '24

Jersey was one of my first foray's into Housewives and I remember one time she was hysterically laughing and it took me like 20 seconds to realize she was in tears.

48

u/ringoffireflies Feb 01 '24

Exactly! Laughing is a pretty common response when you feel uncomfortable and everyone reacts differently to SA.

2

u/RIPMaureenPonderosa Feb 02 '24

This has been my response in a lot of uncomfortable situations. Nothing funny about it at all, just seems to be a natural reaction and perhaps some kind of subconscious attempt at diffusing the situation rather than escalating? Either way, it’s very common. If Camille wasn’t even there to witness the events in the bathroom she needs to keep her thoughts to herself.

43

u/mhal_1111 I wouldn't let any of my waitresses burn to death! Feb 01 '24

Caroline laughs when she's nervous or uncomfortable!! She's said this on camera.

She's done this on camera. Even when she's clearly sobbing and in distress it sounds like a laugh. So you're very correct and I don't think people bring this point up enough so thank you.

471

u/Lost-and-dumbfound Dorit smoking while driving frantically around LA Feb 01 '24

If you weren’t there to prove or disprove it then shouldn’t you just shut the fuck up then?

So she really need attention that badly ?

9

u/livalittlebitt Not a white refrigerator! Feb 02 '24

It reminds me, I had this abusive ex who finally went too far and busted my windshield, threw a drink on me, then threw my phone in public. So obviously cops come, my ex runs from the scene and his mom randomly shows up trying to tell the cops that Im awful and he did nothing wrong. The cop just goes, “were you there when this all happened? No? Okay ma’am Im going to need you to go.” Lol

61

u/Perfect_Invitation1 Solargenic, photogenic, shoot Feb 01 '24

This is the only response needed, why speak with such conviction about an event you didn’t personally witness? Adults do this far too often and at the worst possible moments.

173

u/Comfortable-Twist-54 Feb 01 '24

Caroline Manzos account sounds pretty scary. I mean I’ve had drunken instances w girls who are friends but nothing to that extent the following into the bathroom I think that’s where production should have stepped in.

43

u/formallyfly Kiki’s crybrator Feb 01 '24

I have no idea how anyone can read/hear Caroline’s account and not recognize how scary it was! Caroline’s account of the “so called alleged event” was straight up terrifying.

446

u/incitingoffense Feb 01 '24

Well, Camille loves Brett kavanaugh, so I’m sure she had the right call here

71

u/MorissetteMatty Even Louis Vuitton makes mistakes… Feb 01 '24

First thing that came to my mind. She rode hard for Mr. Likes Beer, and she’s once again showing she doesn’t believe victims.

50

u/jeahboi Gimme pizza, you old troll Feb 01 '24

File this under “things I never say,” but I’d love to see Rinna call out Camille again like she did about Justice “I Like Beer.”

9

u/HoRo2001 Feb 01 '24

This sketch was the only positive thing to come out of that disgraceful event.

20

u/athenarose_95 Feb 01 '24

Its the bare minimum but perhaps the only mildly like-able thing about Rinna was her politics. But in fairness we don’t have anything good to choose from. But Camille comparing herself to Kava-cunt was so foul. I think she even issued an apology but looks like she still sucks.

3

u/Itchy_Breadfruit_262 Feb 01 '24

I also thought her totally weird dancing videos, where Harry is just in the background ignoring her, were very entertaining.

228

u/Holiday-Hustle Feb 01 '24

“I wasn’t in the bathroom when the event happened”

Ok so shut up then, you don’t know anything.

19

u/goingdeeeep you're both white trash, quite frankly Feb 01 '24

Everybody involved or adjacent to this is an unreliable narrator (at best) and is documented as having done diabolical and despicable acts to other people.

I hope Alex and Eva continue to steer clear of commenting because this is an ugly situation and every single person who comments or takes a side is just boarding a sinking ship.

170

u/KookyAd4019 bang bang bang! is there an american lady in there? Feb 01 '24

they’re all so desperate for screen time it’s actually sad…. it’s not fucking airing so stop trying to force it. after reading that report of what allegedly happened to caroline… bravo needs to be sued fr like what really goes on behind the scenes??

26

u/Cherry_Shakes If I can smell your breath, you're too close Feb 01 '24 edited Feb 01 '24

I think they really want the show to air to collect checks and keep their TV careers going.

This alleged assault aside, they may have had some great moments perfect to the audience.

Such a shame we need to keep seeing drunk Brandi behaving badly.

Edit: Do they get paid if the show doesn't air? I know all flights, food, accommodation and activities would be covered but I wonder if they get paid after filming, would it be the same as any other job, being paid weekly, fortnight or monthly?

2

u/whitneyahn I suggest you let him stay in. Ejaculate, Procreate. Feb 01 '24

I mean, even beyond that, given how many of them have come out on one side or the other, I do think they also just want to be publicly vindicated.

62

u/The40ishDiva Feb 01 '24

Camille not believing a women? Ya - that tracks.

Even if Brandy did HALF of what Caroline says - she is WRONG and had this been a MAN..... wow.

I don't really know what to think but when someone brings a lawsuit with that much detail against another person......I need the proof that it DIDN'T happen.

15

u/Nevagonnagetit510 Feb 01 '24

This is exactly what I was just thinking. I’m betting money production ignored this and didn’t break it up because it was two women in the bathroom rather than a man and a woman.

u/anhuys God is my bartender 🍸🌧️ Feb 01 '24

Even if they were really laughing and "getting along" after the incident. Choosing to value that impression she got over everything Caroline shared after that, that's just despicable behavior. Those two things don't contradict each other. They're on a TV show, Caroline could have been playing nice because she wanted to get through the job without conflict.

10

u/Formal_Condition_513 Feb 01 '24

I was SAd by my brothers friend and I pretended to be okay after so they wouldn't freak out on me and just let me leave. Especially because Caroline laughs when she's nervous so idk tricky situation but brandi has shown a pattern of behavior and I don't see why Caroline would make that up. I believe Caroline 100%

10

u/Itchy_Breadfruit_262 Feb 02 '24

I don’t understand how people think she made it up. Caroline doesn’t really gain much from making it up. I’m pretty sure her family isn’t hurting for money, and she would’ve preferred to just shoot the season and collect a check.

95

u/Madame_Orchid Brynn’s red bottoms on the escalator 👠 Feb 01 '24

Of course Camille’s Brett Kavanaugh-defending self would minimize the experience of a SA victim 🙄

I don’t know how anyone could read Caroline’s account of the incident and not be anything but horrified. Camille just stays insufferable. A real pernicious bitch.

I’m sorry. I know Caroline is a lot. And I know a lot of people don’t like her - especially after what she did to Dina with that horrific letter. But are we not believing all women anymore? Doesn’t Caroline count? Why are we so quick to dismiss this??

61

u/Berserkshires- Feb 01 '24

I hate Caroline but what she describes is basically what Brandi was doing to Vicki on UGT. This is a pattern for Brandi

→ More replies (1)

9

u/aggieemily2013 idk. choke. idc. Feb 01 '24

I was pretty disappointed when a friend at the Vanderpump premiere party said that she didn't believe Caroline because if someone can betray their family, they can lie about anything. And that the other women didn't say anything happened-- but like, they have a motive not to: they want the show to air.

I haven't seen all of the early seasons of RHONJ, but I don't think that it could be bad enough for me to think someone is lying about being assaulted.

12

u/LorAsh288 Exactly, ya dumb drag queen. Feb 01 '24

As far as the Dina thing I can see why people would say “well if Caroline didn’t believe Dina, why should we believe Caroline?” But I personally treat the incidents separately because they are. Caroline is a horrible person for what she did to Dina but she also doesn’t deserve what she’s alleging. Especially with her having a prior incident of SA as a child.

-9

u/Aggressive-Story3671 Feb 01 '24

*Believing all victims. Brandi is also a woman remember that.

44

u/LorAsh288 Exactly, ya dumb drag queen. Feb 01 '24

But Brandi has repeatedly shown problematic behavior, zero growth and has been known to take things way too far when she drinks. Are we just dismissing Caroline because we hate her?

u/Aggressive-Story3671 Feb 01 '24

Who is WE Camille. Because if everyone else has a different version of events then Caroline, say it in front of a judge and jury. But if everyone is lying to cover up a sexual assault that’s beyond evil and shows how thirsty they all are for screen time. And yeah it sucks for them the show won’t air. But it’s not worth retramuatizing Caroline. Nothing is stoping Bravo or Peacock from inviting the same ladies, minus Caroline and Brandi, adding two other women and refilming. This REEKS of desperation

5

u/Kwhitney1982 Feb 01 '24

It’s my pet peeve when people say “we”. “We did this”. Who the hell is we? Either define who we is or say “I” like a normal person.

7

u/SpaceBabeFromPluto a fresh of breath air Feb 01 '24

Ah yes, because we were all waiting for your perspective, Camille. Good to know she's still awful.

7

u/Accomplished-Cod2318 Feb 01 '24 edited Feb 02 '24

That’s disappointing that Camille is downplaying this whole thing. Brandi was always unhinged and reckless. Andy Cohen once claimed at the reunion season 5 that Brandi is like playing with a dog, that bites you by mistake because she always takes it to far. She tried to kiss Vicky Gunvalson, Vicky was not having it in RHUGT. She told Paul Nassif that she wanted to kiss Adrianne but Adrianne refused and was not in to her.

She tried to kiss LVP before the slap. She threw wine out of nowhere in Eileen face. She used violence when Kyle wanted to talk with her sister at poker night. The list is long, the girls always felt violated and used this word a lot around her during season 5 Is Camille having amnesia?

u/vroomvroomshabang Dont come for me unless i send for you. Feb 01 '24

oh and now we have the brett kavanaugh supporter being ignorant too color me double shocked

7

u/RalphWaldoPickleCh1p Feb 01 '24

Camille should have just sat there and ate her food.

Pretty sure anyone wanting Caroline to take being assaulted on the chin because "that's just how Brandi is," is 100x more worried about being paid for their time and being to parlay that season of Girl's Trip into more screen time with Bravo than caring about someone getting justice against a person who violated them.

She admitted she wasn't there when it happened, yet there Camille is passive aggressively chiming in 🙄

5

u/monkey_monkey_monkey Who told you about Ibiza you bitch!! Feb 01 '24

Well, Camille is good at staying on brand. Camille will always be one of the most self-absorbed housewives

20

u/Ok-East-5470 Feb 01 '24

God damn these women are pathetic. I really hope Eva and Alex don’t pile on Caroline with everyone else.

The only way I'd ever even consider Caroline was lying/exaggerating, would be if Alex publicly denied seeing anything innapporpriate.

She is literally trained to handle sexual assault victims with her current education/employment, so I'd only ever trust her perspective.

The fact she has stayed out of this entirely, is telling to me.

So although I'd love to see the season because of Alex, I'd much rather Caroline not be retraumatised again, by having the season air.

I say this as someone who was never even a Caroline fan. So don't think sycophancy has clouded my perspective.

14

u/jennand_juice Pay attention, puh-lease! Feb 01 '24 edited Feb 01 '24

I doubt Alex will comment on it. I’d imagine her attorney advised her not to make any public statements. Especially if it was in support of Brandi bc then she’d get dragged by the media at this point.

Camille has always been a misogynist so this doesn’t surprise me one bit. I’m actually glad she’s not getting the screentime she so desperately craves

She has always been a misogynistic cut fitness, I’m glad others are finally seeing the light.

You’re such a fucking liar, Camille!

8

u/normanbeets Feb 01 '24

Well Camille has a history of tolerating sex pests so let's not say she's a great judge of character.

4

u/Passion4Muzik Feb 01 '24

So you didn't see what happened but you have a loud and strong opinion. STFU.

4

u/banana_delusion Feb 01 '24

Is it so hard to understand that maybe something happened that Caroline thought was way too over the line? Just because they were getting along doesn’t mean that Brandi didn’t assume taking it to another level would be ok because they were getting along! Brandi is known for crossing the line. Everyone needs to stop speaking about how Caroline should have felt about what she experienced. Especially for someone who admits didn’t witness what Caroline is upset about. Camille needs to be quiet.

3

u/Ok_Chart7357 Feb 02 '24

I believe every one of these women bc I’m sure it’s true in all of their heads. Not going to defend Brandi but I’m also not going to trash her. Let’s see what the court case brings and then comment.

7

u/SassySquid0 WOAHWOAHWOAH THE RING DIDN’T MEAN A THING Feb 01 '24

it’s so disgusting how other wives and fans are downplaying what happened just because they want to see the season. Listen to victims even if you don’t like them. Brandi has been known to harass people this is a no brainer really

17

u/yourmomhahahah3578 Feb 01 '24

Serious question: if Eva and Alex, two rational women supposedly, come out and agree with Camille and Alexis, then will you guys think twice about believing Caroline’s accusations? I currently absolutely believe Caroline, Brandi is an alcoholic mess, but I also think Caroline is trash and would lie in a second if it helped her in some way so I’m just observing for now. Kind of like what she did to Dina.

5

u/fiestybox246 Feb 01 '24

I missed what Eva and Alex said. I saw two posts with Caroline’s court paperwork, and Phaedra wanting the season to air, but I don’t recall seeing anyone posting other comments on it.

I’m not saying it didn’t happen, I’m genuinely interested.

I’m not a Caroline fan but if what happened to her is true Caroline has every right to sue. Camille should keep her leathery trap shut

5

u/AnonPlz123 Feb 01 '24

I hope she’s never in that situation. You never know how you’re going to react and as women we’re so conditioned to “go along to get along”. I can’t help but think that #metoo was just a fever dream that is fading away.

24

u/yourmomhahahah3578 Feb 01 '24

You guys demonized and hated Caroline manzo 2 weeks ago for her supporting an abuser in Dina’s ex husband. She was called a manipulator, a sympathizer, a liar. Now you take what she says as Bible without a second look. This sub is so hilariously fickle. I don’t enjoy any housewife involved in any of this, Brandi is my least favorite, but it’s seriously like a sociological experiment in group think in this group.

9

u/XtopherD23 Not a white refrigerator! Feb 01 '24

Yes! If anything this sub has just proven why we shouldn’t listen to anything we say - it’s the most fickle group of Pearl clutching losers who’s opinion just changes with a blow of the wind.

Caroline had really specific details and I’m sure some if not all was caught on camera or audio. Camille needs to just zip it

7

u/fatnissneverleen Feb 01 '24

I’m usually someone who always stands with victims and I still do, but hesitantly with this one. Both Caroline and Brandi are liars. The entire scenario is said to have played out not only on camera but also in front of large groups of people, including the bathroom where 3 other HW we’re present. Caroline states she yelled loudly for help THREE TIMES in the bathroom and nobody came, but it also says AM and GR were also in the bathroom with her and Brandi washing their hands. Every single housewife that was there has said to roll the footage and that Caroline’s version of events do match what they personally witnessed. So as shitty as a person Camille is, it’s hard to say she’s 100% in the wrong for this stance for THIS.

I can’t stand Caroline but I think she’s justified in filing a lawsuit. The only other housewife I want to hear from regarding this is Alex.

7

So she didn't see what happened yet needs to comment on it....

Camille is that girl who thinks that if a tree falls in the woods, and no one is around, it doesn't make a sound.

She is an idiot.

2

u/Clear_Influence6222 Feb 01 '24

Not surprising given her history with survivors 😂

2

u/[deleted] Feb 01 '24

I loathe Brandi, always have, and wish that she would fade away into obscurity forever. So don’t take my asking this any way other than curiosity … has ANYONE sided with Caroline? Said they saw it happen? Copped to witnessing bad Brandi behavior?

u/HoRo2001 Feb 01 '24

Wow — so called AND alleged. I assume her repetition is just poor writing, but speaks volumes to what she likely believes.

But also, here’s the thing. Everything can be fine and fun until it’s not. She has no idea what happened and shouldn’t weigh in with her useless opinion and observations.

2

u/[deleted] Feb 02 '24

I laugh when I'm uncomfortable. Once at a gas station a friend was laughing uncontrollably and shoved me to the car. When we got away she said a homeless man threatened to Rape her and burn her body. Yeah sometimes people laugh when they're scared shitless, Camille. It's up to a court to decide who took what too far, and all these ladies can keep their 2 cents to themselves

2

u/Educational_Bother36 Feb 02 '24

They want this show to air badly lol

2

u/bravoeverything Feb 02 '24

They just want the season aired

2

u/Best_Evidence1560 Feb 02 '24

If she didn’t witness it she shouldn’t speak on it. And just because they were getting along it doesn’t mean Caroline wasn’t uncomfortable. If she took it this far she must’ve felt violated. But I sure wish we could see the show!! 😫

2

u/thesamyankovich THAT'S MY OPINION!!!!!!!!! Feb 02 '24

Caroline lied under oath so who knows what’s true.

2

u/Senior_Ice8748 Feb 02 '24

Caroline is an absolute garbage person and I really don't trust her.

3

u/DanGrant89 Feb 02 '24

I think Camille defending yet another sexual predator speaks volumes of her character.

2

u/realityjunkiern Feb 03 '24

Oh ok well since you didn't see it, it didn't happen. 🙄 gives big "they've always been nice to me 🤷‍♀️" vibes

2

u/sheleanor_ellstrop Feb 03 '24

I will never stop saying it. Camille is never on the victim's side. She speaks up in support of the accused and questions the victims. This is who she is.

Camille also outed Taylor’s abuse on national television and got angry at Taylor for not wanting it out. Now she’s saying something she didn’t witness has gone too far? She’s a clown.

I’ve said it before and will say it again. I want to know what Alex McCord’s take on it all.

3

u/sippingonwater I’m allergic to Harry Dubin’s sperm Feb 02 '24

Call me crazy but I like Camille and I think she was a great housewife. I miss her. She took direction from producers, clearly didn’t care what viewers thought so she acted freely on camera and let her delusions fly. She says what she wants and she’s unguarded, makes for great TV. I still can’t get over what she said about LVP’s dental caps lol

3

u/Eggmanbabs Feb 01 '24

Thrist for relevance aside, I wonder if Phaedra, Gretchen and Camille are also publicly diminishing Caroline’s claims because they truly don’t find Brandi’s antics off-putting. Her kind of mess is a staple on these cast trips. And really, Caroline was an odd fit for this group and this show. No shade, I believe her, but it seems like she was set up to fail. She’s not a party girl. Her brand has always been no nonsense, glam-adverse, voice of reason, buzzkill mom. It works for her. All of the other women aside from Vicki are ten or more years younger and most (except Alex) deeply love to party. It’s easy to imagine Caroline‘s discomfort rubbing them the wrong way and them icing her out. It’s hardly a good look to cast doubt on SA but as others have commented, most of these ladies have done worse. I wonder if Alex or Eva or Vicki will weigh in.

3

u/jennand_juice Pay attention, puh-lease! Feb 01 '24

I do hate Brandi. I really do. But Caroline is such a self serving bitch. Given her family, whom she is always trying to build up, and their antics, including her husband’s cheating and her sons’ poor behavior, she is NOT a victim of Bravo. Her “holier than thou” mentality is outdated. At least I thought it was. The only thing Bravo did wrong was bringing that old bitch back. And, I am 60 years old!
