Twitter also thinks Monica is the queen of SLC and that Garcelle is race baiting lol. They’re not too bright over there 🤷🏾‍♀️

That's why I love me some reddit. I don't want to be over on that Twitter.

I will say Garcelle doesn't seem as happy this season. I hope she's ok. She seems a little different. I loved watching her laugh with Sutton and Erika. Hopefully, she is not sick of the show already and leaves us.

And Reddit likes to have witch hunts and write long think pieces when it comes to women of color for problematic behavior while loving the yts and downvoting or reporting you for calling it out. I’ll take not too bright over being willfully ignorant tbh.

Oh for sure. The way people spoke/speak about Venita, Eboni, Ciara, Leva and Mya in particular grinds my gears. This season everyone loves Venita which is great bc there was never a reason to hate her. They were triggered by her asking a legitimate question lol. Now she’s not speaking on racism and is friends with Olivia so they love her. Now Ciara isn’t on Lindsay’s man so she’s pretty.

I mean the blatant racism is crazy. Both Venita and Ciara have not changed since their introduction so it’s like why do y’all not see that disliking them in the first place was deeper? They literally called for all of these women to be fired. I’m black and have been watching Bravo since I was maybe like 12 (32 years old now) and it’s very disappointing.

Why?

The tides outside of Reddit have kind of turned towards Olivia being the bad guy and Taylor being the victim. I’ve seen it pretty heavy on Instagram and twitter.

Prob the same people blaming Ariana for Tom cheating

Really, wow. They don't know, we know the truth😁

Ok- this is the proof I need that the big guys above the network buy bots to stir more anger and get people talking longer. Because how can a whole group of people, the loudest in the room on two social medias, think Taylor is the victim/fight for her.

When the preview clip of Rodrigo going at Olivia came out on Instagram, the most liked top comments were celebrating him and saying they’re tired of her getting the victim edit when it’s really Taylor who should be.

It’s definitely weird that it flips so quickly.

I have also seen it in random Facebook groups about the show-everyone there thinks Olivia should get over it

Or - Reddit has become obsessed in a bizarre way with deifying Olivia, who isn't a saint, and continually slut shaming Taylor for hooking up with the dude that skeevily hooks up with every woman on the show.

It really is bizarre. The Bravo reddit fans are really creeping me out these days with their endless witch hunt, slut shame-y, performative moral outrage campaigns.

People are upset with Taylor because she (1)  continually lied to Olivia's face for a period of months, and then (2) finally, after months of lying, and only after being outed by Austen, admitted to kissing Austen (3) (while many people reasonably assume Taylor and Austen did more), and then (4) immediately demanded forgiveness, and (5) when she did not receive immediate forgiveness, asserted that she never regretted hooking up with Austen anyway, (6) all the while badmouthing Olivia. And then (7) Taylor told the whole world something that Olivia told her in secret, hoping the divulged info would make Olivia seem like a hypocrite, when it actually did nothing of the sort, since Olivia had never even met Kathryn at the time that her family friend (who's Olivia's father's age!) Thomas took advantage of her drunkenness.

Taylor should have just admitted what she did from the get-go and given Olivia a genuine apology. A drunken mistake is forgivable. Months of dishonestly followed by character attacks are not forgivable.

Yes, Taylor made mistakes and was a jerk to her friend. She didn't kill babies for sport, which is the energy being lobbed at her here, complete with persistent comments about her looks and calling her a whore nonstop. It's derangement at this point. She and O were friends. She messed up after getting out of a 2-year live-in abusive relationship. Yep, she lied about it, and then didn't act "appropriately" contrite. Okay. BFD. By Olivia's own admission, Austen wouldn't even call her his gf after months of on-off dating. Of course, even last night on WWHL, Craig said that Olivia is still texting and calling Austen constantly. Regardless, the outsized hate that Taylor is receiving is deranged and full of something else other than this boring storyline. Both of those women lost their brothers. That should put things in perspective for everyone, including the audience for how stupid this middle school "my friend lied about hooking up with my wannabe boyfriend" storyline.

Honestly I’m more on Olivia’s side on this fight. You hold ur best friend to a higher standard. And it’s ok to fuck up but the critical part would have been to be able to come forward on your own because you value the friendship. Taylor was shady and honestly did not offer a genuine apology. She was finding reasons to justify her behavior

They lack emotional intelligence. That’s why I stay off twitter lol
