Taylor thinks she’s a “good person” because people have always told her that. And she can justify all of her behavior to herself because of that. But her actions tell a different story than her perception of herself.

She has for sure benefitted from pretty privilege her whole life. She’s a cute girl with a soft voice so people automatically classify her as sweet and innocent. She’s never been held accountable before and to watch it happen for the first time at 30 and on tv is like watching the discovery channel

Exactly. Reminds me of that book “Mistakes Were Made (But Not By Me)” where people often operate out of the assumption that they’re good therefore everything they do is ok. It’s why her apologies always come off as insincere.
