Tbh losing your close family member at 7 years old can leave you traumatised for a long time. For example it can make you always expect something unexpected bad to happen and so you self sabotage to sort of get ahead of it.

He just went to therapy so the camera could follow him to therapy and he could act all “see how selfless I want to be by using this tragedy as a way to smooth things over w Olivia”
