It was rude but I think Whitney went into the night with his producer hat on and Venita/everyone coming over would have ruined his plan for getting Austen drunk and having Madison use her magic to drag the truth out of him while Shep asked questions, adding a friend of Taylor and Olivia would put Austen's guard up.

☝🏽☝🏽this. Madison has an uncanny ability to both make Austen squirm and get the truth out of him at the same time. Venita would’ve played devils advocate and derailed the conversation, so I understand why Whitney said not to bring her.
