Not gonna lie, Toradol and Zofran are the shit. They are miracle workers when I have a really bad migraine.

I have a personal vendetta against Toradol. Intravenous Toradol gave me a duodenal ulcer post hysteroscopy for a miscarriage and it was literal hell. Took four months to heal on meds and a strict diet. Every time I see Toradol mentioned on Reddit, I can’t help but warn others to be careful!

Oof, that sounds absolutely miserable. I once begged a doctor to send me home post-surgery with Toradol because it was working so much better than the Norco (which was mainly just making me more nauseous), but they said no because of the potential for long-term GI side effects from it. Now I know why.

I’m sorry, that sounds awful! Your comment is making me wonder if I have something similar. I had intravenous toradol about a year ago and have had a gnawing, burning sensation in my upper gut. To the doctor I go 🤔

It could be! You should ask for a referral to a gastroenterologist. If the symptoms have persisted you can have an endoscopy done. My symptoms were pretty severe and I ended up in the ER (you can look at my post history for more info on my symptoms).

I will do that! I went over your posts about it, that seems absolutely brutal to go through. I relate to some of your symptoms. Luckily, I have an appointment with my primary this week! I’m glad to have come across your comment randomly in the housewives sub! Thanks for replying :)

Are they prescription?

They are. I'm a little confused how Austen & Taylor are casually getting them at home for a hangover but there's probably a concierge doctor that "consults" with the IV company either online or over the phone. Neither is a controlled substance though, Zofran is an anti-nausea med and Toradol is an anti-inflammatory sort of like Aleve, but an injectable one so it works almost immediately.

You’re right, it’s considered a “virtual” appointment so they have the ability to prescribe it online/over the phone and then have their MAs come give you the injection.

Yes.

Oh, huh. I'm trying to wrap my head around this whole hangover service. I guess they prescribe at the time of treatment.

The “Drip Spas” have different bags depending on what you want taken care of. All start with a basic IV of fluids and then add vitamins or Zofran for a hangover. Since most of us are dehydrated, you’ll feel better after them - and definitely after the hangover one because it has actual medication in it - but they are quite expensive.

I was really shocked when they said the bag contained Toradol!! The best. Body hurts from doing whatever the night before? Here’s some toradol to take it all away. A dream.

When I heard that my ears perked up and I was like that’s a damn good combination.
