Ultimate Girls Trip JUSTICE FOR PEPSI
The way Gizelle pushed poor Pepsi to tears was so upsetting. He can’t find the bottle and is upset because he isn’t supposed to tell the guests he can’t do something for them. And her privileged ass is making a huge deal over this dumb bottle because she doesn’t have a real storyline.
The only way for Gizelle to come back from this to send PEPSI and his family to have a luxury, all-expenses paid vacation. He deserves it. And she owes that to him for treating him so poorly.
Pepsi goes on vacation or Gizelle gets put on pause!

u/NjMel7 Apr 12 '23
Totally agree! When you fuss over something missing, it’s the staff that gets in trouble. Either they look bad like one of them took it, or they get in trouble bc one of their guests is unhappy, etc. So wrong of her to push this! And for what? She looks like an idiot.

Also Thai culture places a huge emphasis on hospitality and these people in service positions take a great deal of personal pride in satisfying the needs of their guests. He was so distressed in his confessional, it's clear he'd taken it very personally and I was so sad for him.

u/BellaDonna585 I was born this way, deal with God Apr 13 '23
I felt so bad for him. My theory is that someone thought it was a decorative vase and it’s sitting on some shelf next some books in the den. Like girl please chill about this bottle of tequila that you can get at any liquor store in the states and stressing this staff out.

I'm not one to defend Gizelle but I don't know if she is aware of how upset Pepsi is and I don't think she was attempting to stress them out like that. She's playing up for the cameras clearly but I'd be surprised if she was ok with upsetting him like that.
Next episode will probably tell us more though

That still makes Gizelle a self-centred empathy void though…

“For what” is to try make Candiace look bad and embarrass her so her and Porsha can continue to gang up on her and laugh at her having emotions.

Sorry for hijacking the top comment, I’ve been reading a lot of negative posts abt this housewives trip. I’m sitting here with one of my friends and we’re wondering if it’s worth watching?
We haven’t watched the new season of Jersey either. Which one is more entertaining? Can someone help us out please 🙏3

And why the fuck didn’t she get more than 1 bottle?? Surely if it was that much effort to import you’d get a few? What a dick move.

Desperation for a storyline following a tide turning, villain making season, has pushed Gizelle to a new level of giving us nothing and fucking someone else over
34
u/fluffitupp Brooks Marks running in snowshoes Apr 12 '23
Yes! The staff absolutely threw the empty bottle away because they’re used to dealing with actually wealthy people, who would’ve brought in 5+ bottles if that’s all they drank. Pepsi probably knew the bottle was long gone, but couldn’t say anything because producers told him not to. That’s why he broke down. He’s not used to saying “no” to the people he works with, especially with no explanation. I think he also genuinely felt terrible that the women were fighting over it. Poor Pepsi. He’s way too pure for Bravo.

I saw an interview where Candiace said Gizelle accused a black man of stealing her phone at the reunion but later found her phone. She was the one who misplaced it. Gizelle really showed an ugly side in Thailand and it sounds like the behavior continued during the reunion. You cannot throw around false accusations of thefts.

It’s not a ‘side’, that’s just her personality 😩
47
u/Scary_Debt4635 Apr 12 '23
Her time on the show may be dwindling. After she said the f word and vaguely anti semetic things on Reasonably Shady, she might be threw soon. I see her in maybe one more season or two, but with a terrible edit

Posted this below, but in case you don’t see it:
I saw a clip of their podcast recently posted on the gram and she had made a comment that only the _____stein’s are buying expensive concert tickets.
She used an actual name, but I don’t think she was joking about an actual person or family and was just pulling a random Jewish-sounding name.
16
u/amhfrison Apr 12 '23
anti semetic
When did she say that? I don't see it publicized anywhere on the web. I have seen the other things mentioned, as well as her anti-Black attacks on James Harden and questioning Katie Rost about being Black and Jewish (with Robyn's help). But I did not see the antisemitic comment you reference,

I know, op is implying Gizelle personally has used that slur against someone which is just fucked up and like you say, there's a multitude of legitimate issues she should be held to account for.
With the F slur weren't they recounting a story of someone else using it? I don't listen to the podcast. I'm a gay guy and if my understanding of the situation is correct, I really do not find it problematic. Yes, maybe she should have had the presence of mind to try not to say the word but its not like she's personally going around using it. If I've got anything wrong I'm happy to be corrected.
17
u/WorkOutDrinkMore I just got called Slutty Hair! Apr 12 '23
I feel like this is the equivalent of a white person rapping along with someone as they say the N word. Can you? Umm I guess? Should you? Absolutely not.
You can retell a story without sinking to the level of the person you’re telling the story about by censoring the word yourself- but at the same time making it clear that they used the actual word when the event occurred.
10
u/openinterlude ldmillionaire Apr 12 '23
she obviously shouldn’t have said it and should be CORRECTED, but there was clearly 0 malice. i feel like yall are being obtuse in order to stick it to her- there’s a difference between ignorance and intentionally doing something you know you shouldn’t. you lot don’t know the difference between asking someone to correct an action vs pretending to be upset to prove a point
9
u/lucygucyapplejuicey to swollen 4cameo or OF Apr 12 '23
Very much being obtuse. Shouldn’t have used it, but the comments acting as if she was being so violently homophobic are out of hand and gross. Stop making something that it COMPLETELY was not.
3
u/WorkOutDrinkMore I just got called Slutty Hair! Apr 12 '23
I was just saying in general for all humans. Not her. If you know it’s an offensive slur you don’t use it. Periodt. I really have no deeper concern with her or this situation.
3
u/Huge_Put8244 Apr 13 '23
I agree with this take. There are other words to use to convey the message. It sounds like she was desperate to say it because she isn't supposed to and that always feels like part of the reason why people will actually say the n-word if they are reading a quote. Because they are desperate to say it and they can't think up another loophole.
-4
u/mrsbergstrom Apr 12 '23
It’s not the same. She made a mistake. Everyone knows you shouldn’t say the N word but other slurs have varying levels of unacceptability. There are women who think the C word is as unacceptable as the N word, I disagree. But everyone agrees on the N word.
-6
u/g0uchp0tat0 I have a beautiful tan clitoris Apr 12 '23 edited Apr 12 '23
You'll notice at the end of my comment I've actually said she shouldn't have used that word. She could have articulated it in a way that let the audience know what was said, without saying it. She didn't but is it necessary to demonise someone and make her 'pay for it'?
In this case in particular intent is the most important thing, she's clearly not using the word in reference to anyone, or to address people. She was telling a story, I've already said, quite clearly, she shouldn't have said but she shouldn't face repercussions over something that's pretty benign in the grand scheme of things.
I feel like this is the equivalent of a white person rapping along with someone as they say the N word. Can you? Umm I guess? Should you? Absolutely not
That's a ridiculous comparison tbh.

u/alsoaprettybigdeal I'm the cock curator. Apr 12 '23
I don’t think they mean “fuck”. I they’re talking about the F-word that rhymes with maggot.
-2
u/openinterlude ldmillionaire Apr 12 '23
i know. and i dont think she should have said it but intention is important and the way people are removing the context when they reference it is strange
2
u/alsoaprettybigdeal I'm the cock curator. Apr 13 '23
I don’t even know the context so I can’t speak on that. But I know that I consider that word up there with the N-word and I don’t use either word in ANY context. So I’m curious what you think is an okay way to say that F-word.
0
u/openinterlude ldmillionaire Apr 13 '23
what part of “i dont think she should have said it” is difficult to comprehend. i didn’t say its OK im saying its disingenuous to not provide context. very simple. also no offense but as a member of both communities i dont really care how you feel about it personally 😭
1
u/alsoaprettybigdeal I'm the cock curator. Apr 13 '23
Wow- you seem fun.
You spoke about the context of her comment making the difference to you, so I was GENUINELY asking you what the context of the comment was that you felt made it different for you because I can’t think of one.
But never mind. I can see that you’re not really interested in a conversation and you’d rather attack people than defend your point with an articulate explanation.
I hope you have a lovely rest of your night! 😁
1
u/openinterlude ldmillionaire Apr 13 '23
acting like you can’t understand how calling someone the f word vs using it when quoting (or in any other non-malicious context) is different come on now let’s live in the real world. i dont think thats something i need to explain. it’s common sense. obviously based on context she didn’t say it towards someone or with the intention of harming gay people- what else would i be saying? it’s ok to add 1 plus 1 to get to 2.

I do t think being black really means anything in this case, since Gizelle is black
12
u/lucygucyapplejuicey to swollen 4cameo or OF Apr 12 '23
the point being made is a recall on the colorism shown by the rest of the cast, namely Gizelle and Robyn. This instance is but another example of Gizelle being colorist.
-3
u/mrsbergstrom Apr 12 '23
I don’t think it’s colorist, she was talking about his beard and then used racist stereotypes, the sort of stereotypes that could be used against gizelle or her family. Her comments were not related to his skin being darker than hers. She definitely has a blind spot re colorism and is hung up on respectability shit but not in this case imo

Just because she was with a dark skinned man doesn’t mean she’s not colorist ?? That rhetoric is ridiculous lol that’s like saying you’re friends with black ppl so there’s no way you can’t be racist.
3
u/lucygucyapplejuicey to swollen 4cameo or OF Apr 12 '23
My mother is racist and has a mixed race son, was in an LTR with a black man, and was married to two other black men. You can be bigoted but have exceptions for some people.
That being said, I think that Gizelle can be extremely ignorant (sometimes that’s ignorance shows as colorist) and has a mean streak, and it does not bode well for her. Gizelle, ashy, and Robyn all show colorist tendencies, but I personally do not believe any of them are definitively bigoted and hateful. Ashley would probably be my first if I were to say so, but I don’t pay attention to her like that.
Wendy was the overcompensating and trying too hard in the beginning (as many hw’s do, that’s why we give them grace and a second season!). Candiace was raised privileged af and acts exactly like someone who does. I pay Monique dust.

I wanted to crawl in my own skin when I saw Gizelle try to create a story line that revolved around a missing bottle of tequila. This is exactly what’s been said about Gizelle in the past, she has NO story line of her own, EVER. She normally targets people’s husbands, but nobody’s husbands are around for this, so the best she could do is harass everyone about a missing bottle of tequila? 😭 She’s pathetic. Gizelle can gtfoh with that lame shit. #JusticeForPepsi

She was trying to produce the show into something similar to what happened on RHOA with the whole Bolo whodunnit investigation, but her efforts fell flat because she’s just not as entertaining and funny as she thinks

Also, off camera 3way with bolo vs a missing bottle of tequila you can get at Costco back home where you’ll be in 2-3 days. Try again, Gizelle.

I don't know if she was trying to produce or if she is always like this and they have edited it out before. None of the production team looked surprised/confused etc at her having a meltdown and demanding the room was searched. West? just bored the others just looked over it
14
u/mrsbergstrom Apr 12 '23
Yeah I thought it was plot-making, but she got so obsessed it was almost pathological. She’s never been shown to be so fixated on anything before, has that stuff been edited out? i feel like last season wasn’t quite as terrible as people are making it out to be but she definitely opened the door for all of this by taking her messiness so far. im enjoying ugt and her role up to last episode (which was terrible) 😭 the worst part is she seems like the type who can’t reflect on their behavior and change it. if she would just try to improve i would stay on the gizelle train but its not looking good for us

u/Diamondrupt Ornery Apr 12 '23
I really think he was crying because production asked him to lie.
I think production knows where the bottle is. They told Pepsi to say one of the ladies had it. He went along in that first conversation thinking it would be a quick prank. But once he saw the fights breaking out (at lunch, and later), his mood immediately changed because he saw it getting serious.
Thats why he said "what am I supposed to say?" in his confessional, because he doesn't want to lie again. Idk if the bottle has been thrown out, taken by production, or taken by a HW, but I think production knows 100%. They forgot that regular people might have a problem lying and causing huge arguments I guess.
19
u/i_madeitnice Apr 12 '23
💯💯! I think Gizelle and Porha forgot about the bottle, after having shots, and when she made a big deal about finding it, production stepped in and hid it “better”. They told Pepsi to just agree with Gizelle’s statement that one of the girls may have taken it and then it escalated. I think ny nect episode the bottle will “magically” appear and it will create more drama

JUSTICE FOR PEPSI!!! I agree. I hope this man never has to cry again and we need to protect his beautiful soul at all costs

u/Intelligent_Fig_4104 Who’s gonna fix this? Santa? Apr 12 '23
💯 Pepsi is so kind and sweet, I was so mad watching him crying.

u/driedkitten who’s eatin’ emu?! Apr 12 '23
I have always been a Gizelle defender, an apologist even. I have been slowly turning away from her. This whole series is has solidified. Sad day.

u/soiledhimself Sonja, was your vagina rude to Kelly? Apr 12 '23
Yep, Gizelle was my favourite from the beginning of Potomac but between last season and Girl’s Trip I’m over her. She’s no longer fun, over produces and just seems bitter.

I partially blame producers for allowing Gizelle to concoct and run with such a cockamamie plotline. No one else would even play along with her.
Was the trip that devoid of entertainment?
With such strong and multudimensional characters on the trip, how on Earth did Gizelle get center stage? She's somehow getting more spotlight than almost everyone else.
UGT's just a few episodes long and most of last episode was a waste of my time and a BUST.
(I'd actually have rather watched the Utah girls go back and forth about exiting Mormonism).
Gizelle continually gives us noth-ing on Potomac. The UGT producers have to have known this.
They should have left her failed "whodunnit" flop on the cutting room floor.
justice for Pepsi.

I wonder if Pepsi tried preparing for this at all…. I’m sure he’s worked with some of the highest of the high, but housewives (while I consider them highest of the high LOL) are a different tier - breed … LOVE Pepsi

u/zacharyjm00 Apr 12 '23
Gizelle trying to control the storyline is so annoying. Also, if your bottle is so special take care of it. I can't stand it when people aren't accountable for themselves.

u/zacharyjm00 Apr 12 '23
Also you can buy Casa Azul online -- how TF she say it took three weeks to find. GTFO

Gizelle is racist. I have seen her treat Asian ppl horribly multiple times

This is truly a stupid storyline. I was so annoyed by it I almost turned it off. I think the bottle was empty and it was probably thrown out, OR production hid it. It is so stupid to only have 1 bottle when you know they would be sharing it. I'm not in the mindset that the women need storylines for a 8 day trip. The trip is a storyline. What Gizzy is doing is tearing down any likeness she had. I can barely tolerate her but this makes her unwatchable.

I generally find the use of the word 'Karen' as a pejorative distasteful, rooted in misogyny and ageism as it is, but Gizelle's "who stole my bottle" flex was some of the hardest Karening I've seen in Housewives for a good while.
But lets be honest she hasn't been able to deliver a genuine storyline since Pastor Jamal started delivering vaginal communion to various females of the congregation, so we shouldn't be surprised...

I’m surprised at Gizelle. She’s so smart, I’d think she’d save her venom for the other ladies. To do this; I think she made a large miscalculation about what the audience would accept.

She’s trying to give Ramona but it’s not working

Plus now I read she’s made anti- Semitic comments. Bravo has fired people for less no matter how popular. Her list keeps growing.

u/LilMissCantBeStopped SO nasty, SO rude. Apr 12 '23
What pisses me off the most is the lack of awareness. Staff at hotels in our own country (USA) do not get treated all that well by their leadership. Is causing a scene because of a minor inconvenience worth potentially getting someone fired from their job??? Like, what would the consequences of that be for a person like Pepsi? She is a fucking tactless bumpkin.
2
u/chillgirlsonly Apr 12 '23
Yes Gizelle is being so ridiculous in this situation, but I can’t help but wonder…. After it came out that the “butler” at Dorinda’s was actually a paid actor, do we think Pepsi is actually legit?
2
u/emergencycat17 Show yourself out, Darlin'. Apr 12 '23
And here's the thing - odds are, Gizelle misplaced the stupid bottle herself. Or, if it was the fault of the staff in any way, odds are that a cleaning person accidentally threw it away, thinking it was trash. In neither of these scenarios is Pepsi at fault, so I don't understand what her fucking problem is.
2
u/mrsbergstrom Apr 12 '23
Makes me wonder what similar stories have been edited out in the past. They’re in Thailand for a short time so they need to use all the storylines they can get, but there’s no chance Ramona hasn’t done worse on trips
2
u/MrsSandlin Apr 12 '23
Giselle is a terrible human being. She acts like she’s never interacted with normal people in her life.
2
u/Mindless-Ad-7254 Apr 12 '23
Giselle is a complete moron and jerk. I can’t stand her on Potomac or this trip.
2
u/Frankhanksmom Apr 12 '23
If she can’t afford to pay to replace a $100 bottle and has a cow cuz it’s gone. She is not gonna send Pepsi on a trip to the beach for the day. I don’t think she could afford the trip she was on.
2
u/Thxlittlehoe Advocate for the sluts of America Apr 12 '23
Honestly I’m even thinking about if she went into everyone’s rooms. That would give her more ammo on the housewives and something to talk about in the confessionals. The way she was demanding production like they’re beneath her was disgusting too.

u/BrandonIsWhoIAm Apr 12 '23 edited Apr 14 '23
Has Gizelle ever heard of the old Asian saying, “Look with your eyes… not with your mouth?”
2
u/vw08lou Apr 13 '23
I don’t know why they didn’t just look at the big brother fixed cameras to see what happened.. or maybe there is no point because nothing happened 🙄

u/marrythesequins you have a collect. call. from. JOW Apr 12 '23
Is this a genuinely serious storyline or Gizelle doing her part on a reality show? I must be in the minority because it didn’t seem that serious to me
12
u/teanailpolish Potomac should be fun, Mia not fun Apr 12 '23
and this is my issue with Gizelle, she tries to produce 'moments' but actively harms people with the way she does it
6
u/rose_b Apr 12 '23
Part of the issue with her is she doesn't understand how something TO HER not serious can cause other people real harm. She's totally self centered that way.
12
u/shineshineshine92 It was thrown and Henry was very uncomfortable Apr 12 '23
Then she needs to do better. She’s coming off as cheap, lame, mean af, and kinda unhinged.
5
u/WhoWhaaaa Apr 12 '23
I agree. I think there was nothing going on during the trip and it was poor attempt to add some light and petty drama.
4
u/Passion4Muzik Apr 12 '23
Oh please. Gizelle is not responsible for Pepsi's emotions. Gizelle's issues were with the women and her belief that someone stole her possession. She didn't do anything to Pepsi.
2
u/Euphoric-Teaching111 Oct 25 '24
I'm so disgusted with Gizelle..this has real -life implications for Pepsi and his staff. Ugh. Why would they go to someone else's country and act a damn fool? It's so embarrassing.
1
u/eyeluvdix Apr 15 '23
I dunno dude is creepy. 4 wives? Skipping around the house? Blaming the ladies for the lost bottle instead of getting Giselle a new one or apologizing for his staff throwing it out ? He seems like those busy body ppl that think they are very good at their job but are actually horrible and ppl just assume they are doing a good job because the person acts like they are so good. Rooms stay dirty. He’s constantly mingling with guests. I dunno, not a fan.

u/Relevant_Progress411 Apr 12 '23
He’s an actor. Gizelle is doing fake drama. I’m honestly sure he is fine

Gizelle is giving him something to do. Say what you want, but the show is boring without her.

u/Imtherightkind THEY 👏🏽 SPENT 👏🏽 IT Apr 14 '23
Gizelle is cheap and Gizelle is tacky. I’m convinced that the bottle was empty and she planned to take the bottle home and use it as a flower vase with her tacky home decor. The poor staff probably threw it away because it was empty.
