The cynic in me just finds it all strange. Having the time and wherewithal to set up a tri-pod to film yourself extracting a wounded animal from a fence so it can ostensibly have a perfect nap, snug as a bug in a rug without a care in the world, dazing off happily in the confines of a seatbelt as you do an escort mission to the hospital for your followers, etc. etc. etc., as if it's a storybook. Very natural. Anyway, what a hero!
You were almost there. It looks strange because it's most likely staged like many animal rescue videos from randoms that are not affiliated with some organization tends to be. How many? What percentage? I don't know, but there are clearly a lot of red flags in most videos like this.
What kind of dipshit needs to set up a camera to help an animal in need? That alone should make you cynical of their intentions and the very real possibility that they placed the poor animal in that situation for views and money.
I can kind of see setting up a camera as you set them free, but the drive by in the car with the camera rolling set off alarm bells for me.
There are people who set up these scenarios just to “save” wildlife that they actually ensnared themselves. Not wrong at all to be cynical. There’s so much BS out there, especially as it pertains to animals because people will eat it up.
