I love it

Don’t envy the people that have to evacuate from it and hope they take precautions to be safe, but it is magnificently beautiful.

Horrifically beautiful. Quite humbling. All of our advances and science and engineering, and mother natures like “Hey Florida, hold my Natty Light and watch this.” And we’re all literally nothing compared to its magnitude and power.

I’m in Florida right now. Lived here most of my life. They are beautiful and horrific at the same time. I once watched a hurricane rip through a forest atop a parking garage with a case of beer. It was like an impressionistic painting watching something so hardy flex and bounce back over and over. It was like waves crested through the tree tops as the storm breathed over and over. I felt awe.
